One Way Outraged Americans Can Beat Robert Mueller
American Thinker.com ^ | January 27, 2019 | Michael Nollet

Much has been made of the pre-dawn arrest of Roger Stone in his home in Fort Lauderdale. To make this arrest, Special Counsel Robert Mueller, probably having delegated the task to his subordinate Andrew Weissmann (who is known for this tactic), assembled a full-scale FBI SWAT team of 29 members, replete with long weapons, body armor, and even a flash-bang grenade or two. The arrest took place at "zero dark thirty" or 5:30 A.M. Nevertheless, a CNN crew was on hand to film the whole thing.

Once upon a time, this level of force was considered necessary only to raid suspects able and inclined to shoot back, or who might destroy evidence. Think Symbionese Liberation Army or drug kingpin Frank Lucas of American Gangster fame. In such cases, in which the suspects really might shoot back, a television crew would never be allowed, on the grounds that they could be killed in the crossfire. The fact that a CNN crew was allowed to film Stone's arrest is evidence that nobody believed he was dangerous. Indeed, he was not: he is 66-year-old white-collar suspect with no prior history of violence, who didn't even have weapons in his house. Even the judge processing Stone's arraignment implicitly accepted that Stone was not dangerous; he allowed Stone to be released on a $250,000 surety bond.

The usual procedure in white-collar cases is not to assemble an unnecessary SWAT team. Instead, the Justice Department informs the suspect's attorney that the suspect has been indicted and needs to turn himself in to whatever courthouse for arraignment. The attorney informs the suspect and usually surrenders his client peacefully in the courthouse. No guns, no flash-bangs, no pre-dawn raids.

“Andrew Weissmann (who is known for this tactic)”

Yup. Weissmann is a bigoted Leftist with an axe to grind - as far as he’s concerned all WASPs are Nazi’s and it’s his god given role to terrorize them into extinction.

When did we vote for a country like this?

Can you say “Perp Walk” equivalent? Deep State attack on President Trump’s penumbra? Intimidation on any and all possible associates who can be trapped into that prosecutorial ‘ham sandwich’ aka ‘process crime’. Are you now or have you ever been within sight or sound distance of Donald J Trump?

I. Lewis ‘Scooter’ Libby knows that feeling quite well.

What would James Comey do?

The blemished FBI and the tarnish got worse with the Stone arrest.

Do not hold your breath waiting for jury nullification in this matter - he was arrested at home in South Florida and arraigned in Fort Lauderdale, but the case will be heard in Washington, with a D.C. jury.

If only Chris Wray would do something about this.

jury nullification only works when you have a reasonable jury pool....like getting mostly all blacks for a black defendent....

but blacks doing jury nullification for whites?....don't think they'll ever do it, and infact will tell themselves that this guy may not really be guilty, but he's white and those whites deserve it....

don't get me started on the constipated, OCD white jurors who would use any seemingly tiny little point to release a criminal or convict a criminal because they are so hung up on being "fair" they loose all common sense...

Are defense attorneys allowed to explicitly ask the jury to nullify the verdict?

a full-scale FBI SWAT team of 29 members,

It only took 25 men to raid Osama bin Ladin's armed compound "hidden" in Pakistan.

The FBICNNDOJ is a dangerous entity, totally unaccountable to Congress or the President.

Congress MUST subpoena MUELLER AND CHRISTOPHER WRAY to testify regarding their excessive use of force for the Stone apprehension, ESPECIALLY DURING A SHUT DOWN WHEN RESOURCES SHOULD BE USED MOST EFFICIENTLY.

Now we know why the Deep State FREAKED OUT when Trump took office and dared to even speak to Comey. IT'S CLEAR NOW THE FBICNNDOJ IS TOTALLY OFF-LIMITS TO TRUMP BECAUSE APPARENTLY THEY ARE A GOVERNMENT UNTO THEMSELVES.

What's everyone afraid of? What was Sessions afraid of? Are Extraterrestrials running the FBICNNDOJ?

Americans only get outraged when their favorite football team loses.

“When did we vote for a country like this?”

We never voted for it, but we did allow it to fester.

We allowed leftists to take over the schools and infiltrate the media.

We didn’t come together and fight the leftist media until the infestation was beyond repair.

We allowed politicians to divide us, not serve us.

Those are just the lowlights. With a compliant, dumbed down populace, the road is clear for the Ocasio-Cortez’ in our country. I know some people who are reasonably bright who do nothing be cheer things like the storming of Stone’s house.

In short, we didn’t take care of our country, now we’re going to pay.

Andrew Weissman’s life isn’t worth the spit it would take to throw on him...If I had to make a list for God to wipe off the face of the earth I am not sure who I would put at the top, but this guy and the Clinton’s and Pelosi and Schumer are sure contenders!

“Americans only get outraged when their favorite football team loses.”

Sad but true. Chronically distracted, and clinically oblivious.

In some cities the SWAT was elevated to use for an arrest at any single family residence. The troops have to stay in practice, you know. Before that SWATS shot any dog found on the premises and otherwise killed cats they could catch. I have not heard of it happening like that for a few years so either its use has abated or it is so common it doesn’t make the news any more. The second possibility is scary.

Thanks for posting. I think we’ve reached a tipping point and conservatives are waking up to the fact that Federal law enforcement is unaccountable. Does the president exert any control? Absolutely not. Do they respect the Constution and the 4th amendment or due process? No, that’s a joke. Therefore, any evidence that they present should be disregarded. Even if that means that some very nasty people escape prison.

We’re talking about an America Gestapo, the Deep State Praetorian guard. They have to start losing cases. They need to be shunned by the public. They need to be disrespected.
It takes one juror to stand up. Let’s try this before CW2.

Soap box.
Ballot box.
Jury box.
Ammo box.
