I'm sincerely sorry and sad to see that. We've all had people close to us ruined by drugs and other problems caused by libertine social trends and policies. Each of us reacts differently, and you've seen my reaction.

The problem started and grew through the Nixon, Ford and Carter years. Because I was older, the drill sergeants spent some time and effort drilling and grilling me individually to make sure that I hadn't been at Woodstock or any other disgusting gathering like it.

Of course I hadn't, or I wouldn't have been there for the honor of getting dogged. It made me feel special. The training was beneficial and refreshing. It was like taking a shower that washed off the social stench that started to metastasize from political class commie student groups like the SDS around 1968. Shortly after that, more entitled college students, draftees and other doped up malcontents were protesting. Some of them are protesting to the Internet against U.S. defense to this day. During the '70s, that hippie stench and boar pee smelling dope was all over our country.
