Honestly, I considered posting the article above this thread under "foreign affairs."

George T. Conway III
Wikipedia
...obtained a J.D. degree from Yale Law School, where he was an editor of the Yale Law Journal, and president of the school's chapter of the Federalist Society.[1][2]...He is married to Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Trump. Introduced by Ann Coulter,[6] they have four children and live in Washington, D.C.[20] Conway previously dated conservative pundit Laura Ingraham.[21] Conway is half Filipino on his mother's side.[22]

Conway's stated political positions are often contrary to those taken by his wife on behalf of the Trump administration.[23][24] His legal interpretations of the actions of Trump differ at times.[25] He is known to be critical of Trump on a personal level as well.[26] In January 2019 he characterized Trump as a narcissist and an 'unsuccessful psychopath.'[27]

I hadn’t realized that Kelly had come out with the other former, globalist DHS directors in a letter against Trump’s shutdown to fund the fence.

These Generals are idiots regarding how to look at a situation, size it up and develop a plan of action. Any Army or Marine Captain who is an Infantry advanced course grad can write an OPORD. Not all can do an area study, which Special Forces always do prior to entering any country. We saw the Russians get blown up vehicle by vehicle in Afghan. We saw their soldiers get hooked on heroin. I say it takes all of 16 weeks to train any Army Infantry type from BCT through AIT. Many men went to Vietnam shortly after those 16 weeks and a leave. Why the hell are we still training Afghan troops after 17-18 years? We need to get OUT NOW.

Yes. As Kelly once said himself, he’s from that Boston culture. But the culture there hasn’t resembled an American culture for more than 150 years.

As one from the Boston area, I’d say that is going too far.

But I sure don’t like their dominant politics.

"Why the hell are we still training Afghan troops after 17-18 years?"

Because we, as post-war babies (post-World-War-2 Baby Boomers and younger), have not measured up to our forefathers. Our forefathers (the Greatest Generation) would have denazified the culture around those Afghan troops. If we had done so, those Afghans would be dancing to techno in tights and building goofy, expensive little cars that sound like sewing machines.

"Laura Ingraham had dated George Conway? Yikes!"

It must be hard to find a Conservative man in the D.C. area. Or perhaps Laura Ingraham actually prefers leftist males. Laura had a great monologue on her show last night only to ruin it by throwing George Zimmerman under the bus to virtue signal to the left. "No one should be gunned down at night for wearing a hoodie" Laura declares. Perhaps she forgot that the hoodie-wearing thug Trayvon Martin was busy smashing George Zimmerman's head into the concrete sidewalk when he was shot by Zimmerman in self-defense.

I don't trust Laura Ingraham, Kelly Anne Conway, or that woman who crawls into bed with James Carville every night. NEVER trust anyone who sleeps with the enemy. I'm reminded of what the French did after liberation to women who collaborated with the enemy.

Go to the 6:30 mark of Laura Ingraham's monologue to see her throw Zimmerman under the bus. VIDEO: Laura throws Zimmerman under the bus at the 6:30 mark

The problem there is that the culture requiring denizification is Islam, and no one has faced up to that at the highest levels of government.

At least as much I don’t trust male pols with liberal wives.

For that matter, I am skeptical of male pols if they have daughters over the age of 12. Too much pressure to appear a hero in their females’ eyes.

Because of what had happened to this country under Obama and before, we needed an iconoclast as President...a wrecking ball.

We found ours in Trump.

To think that an iconoclast President can assemble a WH staff that agrees with him in every way or is by nature iconoclastic like the President is wishful thinking and might even be dangerous.

Just as a "traditionalist" staff might want the President to rein in his wrecking ball nature just a little or even modify his style altogether, a purely iconoclastic staff would have wanted to go their own way and add their own touches to the wrecking ball WH culture.

In other words, you are damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Of course, Gen Kelly wanted to hold the President back...and of course there are thousands of other times when staff might have complained.

But in the end, we still got the wrecking ball President we want and need so all these staff complaints didn't change Trump one iota.

Ergo, all's well that ends well.

"As one from the Boston area, I’d say that is going too far."

Sorry about that. A long article (or a book) would be needed to explain my perspective. Most of my forebears moved out of that part of the country about 150 years ago and headed southwest. For them, staying there would have been like moving back to Europe.

But now, most of the people of our whole country are either socially and bodily ruined (drug-induced leftism, immorality) or devoid of any American heritage to begin with (not really assimilated). Sadly, that includes middle America and the South. We have a long way to go to MAGA, but I still believe in doing that and more.

You’re right about the southwestern states. I meant that the last of my ancestors headed southwest from the northeast—that is, towards the middle of the Midwest. I grew up in MO and TX.

You are right about the Northeast being a bit of a Europe-lite way-station entry into the rest of the US.
