Over the past 24 hours, journalists and public figures on Twitter have deleted previous posts slamming a group of MAGA hat-wearing teens for allegedly taunting a Native American vet, after more footage was released disputing the initial story. From CNN’s Jake Tapper to Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams, many on the internet are sharing a fuller explanation of the initial viral story. Others, however, are very subtly just using the ‘delete’ button.

Still hit the lying bastards with a landslide of libel and slander lawsuits. I’d like to see every media outlet that ran this BS be put out of business, and the editors and urinal-ists sentenced to hard prison time.

That would be a great idea. These kids aren’t public figures so they’re not fair game in these situations. The father of one of the kids was just on Rush, and they’ve been through hell because of this.

Doesn’t matter. They’ve made their point, and that’s what most in this country will remember. By the time it gets to the apology or correction stage, most have moved on. Far too short attention spans in this country. Thank God that wasn’t the prevailing trait during the Revolutionary War.
Gee, I was starting to become a big Scott Adams fan.
I’m disappointed he bought the story and reacted to the Slanderous charges.
Scott is still a newbie to Conservatism, old habits die hard, but he’s done a lot of good for our side. Hopefully he’s learned from this.

I hope the boys targeted do get a chance to sue those who were so quick to condemn (even their school tossed them under the bus without first checking the facts).

The context doesn’t Even matter.
What they seemed to do was MINOR, nothing but some mocking and standing ground and defiant smiling. Big deal. I dealt with worse in my childhood. Never made national or even local news.
And he was backed up by foul mouthed low class leftists. What is the difference? Should they all be killed?
He’s a Californian so it in his “cultural genes” to accept stuff like that “prima facie”!
Also that much of what his “Persuasion Theory” is all about is the power of first impressions. Which can be a bear trap if you’re wrong!
