They should claim that had they been able to spray Roundup under their transmission lines there would not have been any vegetation under the lines hence no fires ... tell them to sue the state of Ca.
“Anything for a buck.”
I’ve always sensed a whore in the mix, she ain’t no saint.
M Kehoe,
One of their 100 year old transfer towers had a coupling that held high power lines snap. That left the line/s dangling and arcing in 50 mph winds throwing sparks into the area vegetation. Supposedly PG and E marked that and other towers for replacement some time back but just never got around to it.
Several days before the fire we received email notices that they were going to shut down power on that day, November 8th, as it was widely forecast to be a high wind event. Regretfully, P G and E reversed their decision hours before the fire.
From all indications I believe that PG and E is responsible for the fire. They are not responsible for the dry conditions that caused such a horrible fire, nor the forest plan whether state or federal, but their arcing lines did ultimately cause the fire in my opinion.
Now the question is...what should be done to make the good folks of Paradise whole again? A whole town is gone. Lives shattered and interupted. 86 people dead—burned to a crisp.
I hope that answers your question.
Making your haters live without infrastructure you gave them: priceless.
