California’s new governor and his family plan to move to a $3.7 million, six-bedroom house in Fair Oaks they bought in December, according to property records obtained by The Sacramento Bee.

For now, Gavin and Jennifer Siebel Newsom and their four young children are living in the historic governor’s mansion in downtown Sacramento. The governor’s office confirmed that they plan to move to Fair Oaks, an unincorporated community in Sacramento County, once their new house is renovated.

Deed records show a limited liability company purchased the Fair Oaks property in December. The company is registered in the name of Gavin Newsom’s cousin Jeremy Scherer, the co-president of PlumpJack, the hospitality company Newsom founded.

Something tells me that rich leftist Gavin Newsom will not make his new home a sanctuary mansion. You can’t expect a rich lefty to live with or be around the common folks.

I wonder how big his wall will be? Should be pretty big since the property sits on 8 acres.

Par for the course for commie hypocrites. All in for the ‘little guy’. In the Soviet Union they had their special schools and shops and housing, whilst the masses had their dreary concrete flats and cued at the shops. Same scenario where ever they gain power

Buy a 3.7 million dollar home and then have enough money to remodel it? Seems the public servants have become the masters.

Not familiar with the area, but from what I hear about Cali these days, that doesn’t sound expensive.

And this is how he’ll run California too. “It was a real steal at $3.7 M. Put another couple of million into and we’ll be able to live in in!”

Years ago we paid $170,000 for our house. The main draw for me it was ready to move into. Although the back deck renovation was a project. (Deducted the money from the sale price to rebuild the 10’x8’ deck. Bought materials with the money and built a 25’ x 25’ deck with a buddy.)

The back yard needed some work. After 25 years and two dogs, it still does!

The new Gov Mansion should be in Tijuana.

Fair Oaks is the next town over from me. Sacramento area real estate is maybe a quarter the price of the Bay Area. You can get a small mansion for that here.

12,663 sq ft, 6 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. A private gated entrance, pool/pool house, wine cellar, tennis court. Just your basic suburban home, right?

It's a Real 'Fixer-Upper'

I imagine this video will be taken down soon...

The things I would do for that wine cellar. Nice house, catchy tune on the soundtrack.

Seems to be a fair amount of broadleaf ground cover to irrigate. Can old Gavie do that on his 50 gallons a day?
