When you come right down to it Rhode Island just might deserve the title “Moonbat Central” more than Massachusetts,Vermont or Kalifornia does.

Indict him for what? Winning the U S Presidency in 2016.

Is he also saying that former Pres Clinton should have been indicted when OIC found he had lied under oath? After all, Pres. Clinton pled guilty to that charge.

Whitehouse warned that "an unanswerable president would create a terrible situation.... you don't get a resolution.
You don’t get pressure on him to answer questions----that doesn’t seem like an appropriate way to deal with it.”

I'm all for Senators like Whitehouse being answerable for colluding and covering up presidential misdeeds....for instance, those of Bill Clinton, and Hillary.

===========================================

REALITY CHECK Recently, Monica Lewinsky made clear that Slick suborned perjury from her, an impeachable offense, for which he also could have lost his law license. So where's the aggrieved left? They colluded to give Slick a pass when they should have been
up in arms about boorish behavior from an alpha male, serial predator they say they despise.

Clinton lied about that subornation, as well, while under oath.
MORE EGREGIOUSLY.....Slick even went so far as to have Lewinsky give Linda Tripp written instructions,
coaching Linda on how to properly perjure herself in the Willey matter. (Linda didnt buy it.)

===============================

THE LIST GOES ON AND ON: Bill's intimate pal, Vernon Jordan, arranged a $40,000-per-year cushy government job for Lewinsky shortly
after she signed ......but before she filed...... a falsified affidavit saying she had NOT had sex with the president.

As insurance, Clinton had another pal, his Ambassador to the United Nations, Bill Richardson,
personally visit Lewinsky at the Watergate to offer her a government job to shut her up.

Attorney David Schippers was asked by his friend, Congressman Henry Hyde, to be Chief Investigative Counsel
for the US House Judiciary Committee. Schippers, a lifelong Democrat, accepted and took the job in April 1998.

The Hyde Committee was holding an inquiry on whether Clinton had committed impeachable offences in his handling
of the Paula Jones sexual harassment suit..... during which Clinton committed perjury regarding his affair with
Monica Lewinsky. The committee in December 1998 voted to impeach Clinton........a decision supported by Schippers.

On December 10, 1998, Schippers said to the committee: The President, then,
<><> has lied under oath in a civil deposition,
<><> he lied under oath in a criminal grand jury.
<><> he lied to the people,
<><> he lied to his Cabinet,
<><> he lied to his top aides,
<><> and now he's lied under oath to the Congress of the United States.
There's no one left to lie to."

======================================

AND THIS---Then-First Lady Hillary went hog wild with tax dollars. She set up what she called a "Bimbo Eruption Team" in the West Wing of the White House composed of tax-paid govt workers including then-Clinton aide George Stephanopolous....now at ABC-TV. The tax-paid West Wing office office operated for eight long years.....and did nothing but shoot down, demean, defame and lacerate any woman who dared surface about Bill's sexual activities.

These expenditures of tax dollars (A) saved Bill's presidency, (B) got Hillary elected to the US Senate, and (C) gave Hillary the prominence she needed to launch the rest of her political ambitions.

As long as hillary and bill are walking.. as long as the justice dept can continue in it’s destruction.. as long as obama is not charged... as long as the deep state remains... there will be hell to pay to think of removing Trump or going after him when his 8 years are up.

The corruption is deep and wide in our government.. and socialists are trying to take it over... and YOU, senator, are not fit to serve!

Indict him for what? Name the statute that President Trump supposedly has violated. "Collusion," even if it did happen, is not a crime. It is called diplomacy.

First he incorrectly interprets the Constitution when his asinine assertion is challenged. Then, he cites NIXON as precedence to support his position? What an imbecile. If this douche knew anything about the Nixon case, or the Constitution for that matter, he would know that it was specifically understood that Nixon COULD NOT be indicted while holding the office of the Presidency. He had to be impeached first then removed from office before any legal proceedings against him were initiated.

BTW - Does this asshat even know what Nixon did wrong? I bet he doesn’t. What does he think Nixon should have been charged with? Note that Nixon was never charged with a crime. Obama was far more guilty of high crimes & misdemeanors as well as abuse of power than Nixon or Trump could ever measure up to.

Consider the implications of indicting a sitting president.

If he can be indicted why cannot he be arrested? If arrested why not incarcerated? If incarcerated why not denied bail? We then have the preposterous picture of the president of the United States commanding armies in time of war from a jail cell.

If the indictment, arrest and incarceration are brought for an alleged violation of a state crime before a state judge, how reliable would a writ of habeas corpus be in securing the release of the president of the United States? Suppose a state, California comes to mind, declares that not only is it a sanctuary state but it is a state of coequal jurisdiction and declines to observe any federal court orders?

Do we have a Civil War?

One can imagine a very similar scenario for the indictment and arrest of a president for an alleged federal crime.

The Constitution provides a remedy, the remedy is impeachment and the Constitution also provides the requisites for impeachment. The remedy provided by the Constitution is there to prevent the absurdities advocated by Democrats in this article. It is these requisites for impeachment which the Democrats seek to evade if they are really interested in prosecuting the chief executive for high crimes and misdemeanors. But of course they are not interested in that, they are just interested in weakening the president so that he is forced to resign or cannot be reelected. Meanwhile, the Democrats in the House Of Representatives can undertake to rule the country as the radical Republicans attempted to rule the country after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.

Let us not forget that the radical Republicans' attempt to impeach President Johnson failed, albeit narrowly, because it was not directed against high crimes or misdemeanors but for differences of policy. The Constitution's impeachment clause is designed to block criminalization of policy.

Pelosi et al cannot defend THEIR shutdown, so the word has gone out to the party and their own virtual party-media - the LameStreamMedia - to shift the narrative to “Russian Collusion”.

Don’t think Congress can “indict” anyone.

They can issue articles of impeachment. They can make a criminal referral to the DOJ. But Congress has no power to “indict.”

“DEMOCRATIC SENATOR SAYS WE'RE ‘MOVING TOWARD INDICTMENT’ OF TRUMP”

I hate to see it happen but if it's gonna happen, do it.

Let the House impeach tomorrow morning so the Senate can acquit tomorrow afternoon.

Then go on to the next thing.
