Though I do not trust the Humane folks on any level, I am pleased for the sake of the furbabies if they do get food.

You’d have folks who would turn animals loose or drop them off at Kill-Shelters in a heart beat.

For decades factory workers have been losing their jobs and livelihood to off shoring in the name of globalist corporate greed and lust for cheap labor. I saw no sympathy for them at all.

This is nonsense. Canned pet food costs the same as people food and is more expensive than fresh food.
I agree. Nobody's starving if they know how to eat responsibly and nutritionally, and know what foods are excellent value for the nutrition they provide.

I live paycheck to paycheck *but* first, the dogs get food and their health insurance is paid.
Whatever is left is for us.
I have a non-working freezer horde of dog food.
