Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl said his sources “interacting with” special counsel Robert Mueller’s team said Mueller’s forthcoming report was “almost certain to be anti-climactic.”
Partial transcript as follows:
KARL: What I am getting is that this is all building up to the Mueller report and raising expectations of a bombshell report. And there have been expectations that have been building, of course, for over a year on this. But people who are closest to what Mueller has been doing, interacting with the special counsel caution me that this report is almost certain to be anti-climactic. If you look at what the FBI was investigating in that New York Times report, you look at what they were investigating, Mueller did not go anywhere with that investigation. He has been writing his report in real time through these indictments and we have seen nothing from Mueller on the central question of, was there any coordination, collusion, with the Russians in the effort to meddle in the elections? Or was there even any knowledge on the part of the president or anybody in his campaign with what the Russians were doing, there’s been no indication of that …
STEPHANOPOULOS: They hadn’t laid that out yet in the indictments but how do things like the Trump Tower meeting with Russians, Don Jr., Paul Manafort, Paul Manafort giving polling data to Ukrainian oligarchs, the pursuit of a Trump Tower in Moscow. How does that fit into this theory?

The FBI can’t just investigate anyone it wants for political reasons. What about the 4th amendment? Mueller should be arrested.
Oh you mean the same FBI who opened up an inquiry on DJT almost led the coup for Hitlery, accepted the Steele dossier as gospel?
Mueller may issue some “report” but it will be meaningless. He’s on the job until they day Trump leaves office.
Obviously Trump is guilty of obstruction because he committed no crimes that Mueller could find.

my prediction : house dems (and presidential candidates) will use the lack of anything substantial in the special counsel report to be a reason for more investigations. they’ll say things like, “need to find the truth”, and “deeply troubling”, and “coverup”.
bingo. exactly. the lack of evidence will be proof of a coverup.
The Mueller "insurance policy" will transfer to the House in the form of more "investigations".
But...
Grand Jury testimony is underway in several states.
Attempts to BLOCK/PROTECT themselves will FAIL.
This goes far beyond political corruption/sedition.

If Mueller is smart and wants to keep his head, he will double-x his treasonous ‘co-workers’ and do the honest thing, or go down in history forever as a villain, bringing shame and revulsion to anyone that is connected or related. Think about that sir.
They’re just a bunch of rich Russian businessmen. We have the same thing here.
Imagine and alternate reality where Hitlery won. Then this rigging the election and safety net they installed via the FBI/DOJ came out.
First the press would ignore it. Then let’s pretend it didn’t go away. Hillary at Best would promise to get to the bottom of this. And her AG would say nothing happened. But if new leaked of something really did happen they’d get one of their buddies to take the fall and give them a cushy job at the Clinton foundation.
