She wouldn’t do what the referendum folks wanted.
May is horrible and deserves to lose, but the sad fact is the alternative is much worse.
Yeah, Jeremy Corbin, whose slogan is: “Making the UK more like Venezuela!”
That’s the ticket!
May is the worst Tory since since Neville Chamberlain.
Yep.
I think that if her government is defeated on their Brexit motion that it is, or should be, a “no confidence equivalent” vote, like a defeat on the budget, for example.
Yes, Corbyn is terrible, but when the Queen agreed to a referendum and to be bound by the result, she set in motion a chain of events which leads inexorably to Venezuela.
Democracy always fails in the end. Always.
Since Edward Heath.
UK citizens vote for Brexit two and a half years ago. WTF is taking so long??
Too many pols in her party are with her on that. If that ends up swinging the UK to Cornyn that will be a (short term, until he is voted out) disaster for the country.
I assume that if she loses the no confidence vote she’ll step down as leader and the Conservatives will go into the election with a new leader?
Looks like the smoked salmon and Port crowd in Brussels is gonna win after all.Europe’s Swamp doesn’t care about the will of the people any more than ours does.
Ping.
This could be ungood.
Why do people who push a few buttons get a whole political party? I probably work on average 50% more hours per year. I do not get, nor want a third party negotiating my salary. On the other hand, I cannot simply be replaced by any monkey off the street, though I can be fired at a snap of the fingers with zero recourse. And this in no way is intended to impugn factory workers, I work in factories world wide. you and I know who this screed targets.
“Democracy always fails in the end.”
What you see is not democracy that is failing; it is corruption running riot.
Absolutely.
The left and Tories (like our RINOs) want a do-over referendum to get the desired result.
Yup. When Texas secedes, I doubt it would take long to go full steam ahead..
Farage should be the PM.
