The owner of a soon-to-be-opening French-Vietnamese restaurant in New Hampshire is set to meet with the city manager of Keene following concerns that the eatery's name sounds like a profane phrase.
Pho Keene Great, which is not scheduled to open until March, had already displayed a small sign prominently featuring the name, which is a play on both the Vietnamese dish pho (pronounced "fuh") and the name of the town (Keene).

Store owner Som Ting Wong said he didn’t understand the concerns, but is changing the name to Pho King Good.

I think maybe they were being a bit disingenuous and considering it an inside joke, assuming most people would pronounce it “fo.”

This venue next to the city hall is directly facing the Central Square.
Central Square is where the "free-staters," those ruggedly individualist New Hampster Libertarians, have milled around for the past 15 years having their dorm-room bull sessions and smoking weed and not much more.
If getting high with a bunch or grumpy 70 year olds who harass meter maids sounds like fun then you will love Keene.

I lived in that town for quite awhile. That building is also the police station where i did lots of i.t. work. I lived across the street, and if the camera were turned a few degrees to the left, is where the statue of Robin Williams was for jumanji.
