Outgoing and retiring Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Bob Goodlatte, appears on Fox and Friends weekend to discuss the status of investigations into the DOJ and FBI corruption.
Goodlatte notes the reason for former FBI Director James Comey to refuse to testify to a closed session, and also outlines how the joint House Oversight and Judicary committee will turn over their investigative material to the Senate Oversight (Ron Johnson) and Senate Judiciary (likely Lindsey Graham) committees.

The House is going to investigate Trump, and the Senate is going to investigate the Swamp. The MSM is only going to report one set of investigations.

There’s no reason for the Senate not to pick up the ball on the deep state investigation. The future of justice in this country depends on it. I ain’t gonna hold my breath though. It’s looking more and more as time goes on that putting our liberties in the hands of these crooks has become an exercise in futility. We the people are going to have to use our duty as Patriots to change this government through force. It is our duty as commanded in the Declaration of Independence.
Comey apparently got the FBI director’s job b/c he is supposed to be smart.
But he testified 245 times that he ‘could not recall’ details of events unfolding round him.
Say what? American are supposed to simply shrug off Comey’s ignorance of serious crimes that impacted our safety and security?

The Senate may be a little better. Nothing will happen anyway. These Critters have no intention of finding anything wrong with Dems. They will break their necks looking the other way. They need to be charged and prosecuted. This is all smoke and mirrors.

Liz - Comey 'remembers' he just doesn't remember 'perfectly'. That's his justification for lying about memory...
Here's what should be said to Comey:
We understand no one has perfect memory Mr. Comey and when we ask you questions we're NOT looking for a mental 'tape recording' of events. We don't expect you to have a photographic memory.
Is that the reason you say you don't remember? Do you think we expect a perfectly correct answer?
We'll be happy to arrange a appointment with a neurosurgeon to see if there 's a medical reason your memory is impaired... Is that necessary Mr. Comey?
We don't expect YOU Mr Comey to have perfect memory but we DO expect you to tell the truth as you know it, as you saw it, and to the best of your ability - to answer our questions truthfully.
The swamp is still loaded with crooks and political plants. I saw a big change in the directors of two VA hospitals around 2002 or so. Things got worse under Obama. It seems the Gov. employees in DC, especially those in senior executive service positions, are all political types.
