We have armed air marshals on planes where no one ever tried to use a gun to kill unarmed passengers but yet don’t want to arm teachers in schools where there’s been multiple school shootings resulting in many deaths.

dialing 911 is fine except by the time help arrives it should more fittingly be the coroner instead of the police

The Guardian program in Florida is extremely restrictive. It only allows school employees to be armed guardians, it requires six weeks of intensive training (unpaid), and it prohibits people whose primary job is classroom teacher form participating.

Uh oh. Stoneman Douglas votes overwhelmingly for arming trained teachers Meaningless. Some legislature — either in Virginia, or in Washington — will just pass a law nullifying the vote.

Sure, you can always dial 9-1-1
And maybe they'll help, and maybe not. They will bring cameras and mops, but not help.

Just the possibility that someone in the school might shoot back will deter 99%+ of these shooters

Recent history clearly shows that the primary result of dialing 911 during a school shooting is the clear identification of those with a yellow streak...
In the cases of school shooting after school shooting, the police non-response is evident... In every school shooting over the past 20-years the waste of taxpayers money by paying police salaries has been clear...
