Well, I don’t see much that McConnell can do to Flake at the moment. Flake is wanting the lime-lite and McConnell is being smart by basically ignoring him and refusing to play his game. McConnell will have two years to appoint conservative judges. And, he now has the headcount to not be held hostage by the likes of Murkowski, Collins, Flake, McCain.

Thanks for the info. The media is one-sided and all about disinformation, so it is easy to discount it when anything negative is reported. When everything under the sun is “racist” then really nothing is anymore and people tune it out. That, and the double standards that are loudly and proudly engaged in by the other side. Still, it is important that a judge have no history of questionable dealings (again, we live in an age of disinformation where lies get made up for one side while blatant crimes are protected). Maybe pick someone else and move on. I especially don’t like or trust Flake but I would want more information.

As someone posted, take it to the floor directly. The 3rd circuit is on the verge of being flipped pending Paul Matey being confirmed, at the same time challenges to anti-gun legislation are moving through there. But the idiot Flake is holding up confirmation. We could sure use the help now.
Mr. Flake has an expiration date as a US Senator and its coming soon.
But I hope Mike Pence can help move some of the nominees in the interim.
