I have anti-bacterial gel that I keep in my cars.
These days, I wash my hands a lot. Especially when preparing food.
Everything I get from the grocery store is rinsed and wiped with a towel. For what little that may be worth.
Grocery carts are a huge concern. Chilun pick up germs at school and then help mommy push the carts. All is fun!
People carry their own dirty grocery bags into a store and throw them on the counter. Imagine what’s on those bags.
Imagine knowing that the tomatoes that you ‘feel’ to see if they are ripe, at the store, have already been ‘felt’ by dozens if not hundreds of other people.
It’s worth a lot. Just change the towel you use frequently. /no sarc

Are you making sure the towel itself is not contaminated?
also, humans carry lots of germs,including staph, on their skin, etc...its normal......
its called LIFE people....
germs won't make you very sick if you're healthy already....
so sleep well....eat well....drink well....get exercise.....be happy..
