Grocery carts are a huge concern. Chilun pick up germs at school and then help mommy push the carts. All is fun!
I always grab those wipes (if they have them - which is about 3/4 of the time).
Saw too many guys using the restroom and walking right out many years ago.
I didn’t do a count but it seemed like 40%-50%.
I actually know a guy who brags, yes brags, that he does not wash his hands after going to the restroom. THAT boggles my mind.
No, I’ve NEVER shaken his hand, lol.
Grocery carts are a huge concern. Lil chilun poop and pee while sitting in them.
Bring Clorox wipes with you to the grocery and wipe off the cart before touching it.
I live in ranch country. I always assume the cart handles are contaminated with horse or cow feces. I wipe down the grocery cart handle and child seat with antiseptic wipes. Of course, I do that even when I shop elsewhere. There’s alcohol gel at the checkouts at my local store, which I use after I use the debit card touch screens. When I get home, first thing I do is wash my hands. I’m always dismayed to see that people use a public restroom, turn the sink faucet on with their dirty hands, contaminating the handle, then turn off the dirty faucet handle, re-contaminating their hands, then using a most certainly equally contaminated paper towel lever to get their paper towels. They’d probably be better off skipping it altogether. Should be a law that every public restroom be equipped with hands-free plumbing.
It helps strengthen the immune system. Avoiding germs at all costs is counter-productive in the long run.
