I spent some time yesterday watching live videos on YouTube and the caravan folks were really dejected,because they were told that Trump would let them in once they got to the border.
Many of them are just now realizing they were deceived.
They traveled all that way for nothing. How disheartening that must be.
They were imagining a wonderful life somewhere over the rainbow, and it’s not happening.
I remember another video a few weeks ago where someone stated that the caravan hadn’t been told they weren’t going to be allowed in.
And then the Paloma lady in Tijuana talked about how Soros was funding the bill, giving the caravan money.
On Sunday’s video, one man talked about how the UN was going to send troops to make sure they got in.
Of course, the only troops there were ours, to keep them out. He was stunned right along with many others.
What kind of decisions might they have made if they’d known the truth?
No, they shouldn’t be allowed in, but they shouldn’t have been lied to either. If the individual responsible for misleading them were put out there, he’d probably be devoured like a snake in a turkey pen.
I feel sorry for them, but they don’t belong here. They need to go home and fix the problems there.
If Mexico couldn’t resist a few hundred breaking into their southern border, how in the world do they expect to protect their people if war were to happen?
Read elsewhere (true or not) that while Mexico has offered the migrants jobs, there was discussion that these people would be replacing the shocking number of those all murdered by the cartels, in certain locations.
Seems Soros does mostly want to create a nasty wedge between US and Mexico, and of course to shrink the Trump coalition of supporters, in the USA, prior to 2020.
This is an attempt by the American Left to re-create the Intifada at the US-Mexico border, plain and simple. They hope to provoke CBP and the Trump Administration the same way Fatah and Hamas provoke the Israelis. As long as CBP continues to handle this professionally, as they have, the Left will fail just as Fatah and Hamas have.

The Mexicans that work on my southern cal job site also agree with virtually all of the other replies as well. We have talked about this stuff for years. Most of them are smart, hardworking guys who were not for my President until this event lifted the veil of scullduggery promoted by Univision and Telemundo.

A humanitarian disaster is what we have on our hands already. My prediction was that this would occur in the middle of Mexico but they changed their route to get to Tijuana so it will happen there.
