Pull out all the troops, cut off all funding of ANYTHING in the EU and cut off all trade with Germany and France. I can’t think of anything from there that I can’t find somewhere else.

These people need to understand the European Union is not like the United States and can’t be like the United States.

Why? Language differences.

A Brit can’t move to Poland and get a job in Poland as easily as a New Yorker can move to Texas and get a job in Texas.

A Brit is very unlike to be able to speak or read Polish.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said that European Union (EU) member states must be prepared to transfer powers over to Brussels at a debate on the ‘tensions’ between globalisation and national sovereignty.

And we thought Alexandria Occasionally Coherent said some idiotic things. Merkel just ran off with the "Stupid is as stupid does" award for 2018 with this one!

Sorry, AOC, Hildebeast and Pug-ugly. Maybe next year.

"...cede sovereignty to Germany and France..."

If Macron can't envision how this arrangement would play out, he deserves whatever he gets.

““Nation states must today be prepared to give up their sovereignty,” Merkel said”

Germans last tried that mid-20th century and it didn’t work out so well for them then ... it seems they never learn ...

“Nation states must today be prepared to give up their sovereignty,” Merkel said, speaking at an event organised by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin...

Once again German control freaks attempt to take over... Well Europe if you go along with this we're NOT GOING TO SAVE YOUR BUTTS...

But, if Hungary, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic get support from one, Pres Donald J Trump, that may tip the scales in their favor. Long shot, but one can hope.

Nor the desire. But they make an excellent Boogeyman if you need to sell a lot of defense industry products. Russia has around 380k ground troops. Nato has over 2 million. Nato has relentlessly moved east up to Russia’s border.
But Russia is the big threat. They are basically sitting at home, thanking God (who they build churches to) they have a big nuclear force and fending off western launched color rebellions and subversion. We have reversed roles.

“"...cede sovereignty to Germany and France..." If Macron can't envision how this arrangement would play out, he deserves whatever he gets.” Lol, for sure. But, Macron is young. Maybe he should discuss the Big One with Mom err wife. She looks old enough to have been there 😂...

True.
I think we should move our European troops into Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, even Romania if they want them. Let our troops pay enrich the citizens of those countries who support us instead of the Fourth Reich (EU).
Poland wanted our missiles, lets send them the whole shebang.

Don’t know ‘bout that.
The Sov, er, Russia is a third world country with a first world (sorta) military.
While they could certainly handle Western Europe’s militaries (sans the US) roughly, I don’t think the Russians could actually AFFORD to conquer Western Europe. It would be a financial catastrophe.
Also, they have to go through an awful lot of other countries just to get to Germany.

Assuming the Russians don’t run out of gas ammo or pay, maybe.
But it would still be an economic catastrophe for them, unless they could extract money from their conquest poste haste!
