Our five year old grandson is homeschooled...I helped him make his grocery bag Indian vest and feather headband to wear for thanksgiving. And I am reading him Rush Revere’s First Thanksgiving book. Being politically correct is not my strong suit. ROFL

Lately, some have been calling Thanksgiving a secular holiday. How is giving thanks to God secular?
Do they think that, when Washington and Lincoln declared Thanksgiving a national holiday, they were merely declaring that everyone should have a big dinner?

When I was a kid, we put on a Thanksgiving play for the school superintendent. My indian outfit was made from a brown paper bag “shirt”, construction paper headdress, and a little face paint under each eye.
