My 1.5 yr old was watching Sesame Street on YouTube this morning. I waited, and in multiple sketches over one hour there was not one single part that celebrated HER as a white, blond, christian girl. Practically every minority one can think of got to preach to her how special and awesome they are - except for ones that look like her.
I turned it off.
Oh, and If my child wants to learn the singular language of failure and poverty (spanish) then she can take that crap in college. I dont need it forced on her by puppets while Im introducing her to the universal language of success (English).
