Letting voters decide, IMO is the best way to accomplish this.

Congrats to Michigan.

I predict Florida passes it in 2020 if it makes it on the ballot.

It passed here in Michigan and the newly appointed DEMOCRAT governor Gretchen Whitmer wants to pardon everyone incarcerated for marijuana posession...........

Major can of worms considering that such imprisonment could be due to parole violations or any number of other associated crimes........

I have such mixed feelings here. As a Libertarian I favor the people deciding this issue. On the other hand, adding ANOTHER legal intoxicant will also probably add to the DWI stats. Plus, I feel that if Tobacco Smoke was injurious, there is still a lot to study about the long term effect of marijuana smoke although I’m uncertain what the medical marijuana is voting for, smoke or pills or both.

I understand that there are some possible medicinal factors to pot that should be studied & used.

I just don’t understand why everyone is so quick to want everyone else to get and be high. Sure, being intoxicated can be fun, but seriously - all the time?

CBD this, CBD that, pot this, pot that - the peer pressure to get on board with this MASS HIGH is AWFUL!

Gotta keep the masses high. That way they don’t pay attention to what gov is doing to them.

Pot is going to be a liability for the GOP if they don’t pass legislation permitting it. In Michigan for example they had pot legalization on the ballot and it drove up Dem turn out. If the legislature had approved it first the ballot measure would have been irrelevant.

I was willing to give adults a chance on the Michigan vote.

But I will admit the NO side ran some really thoughtful internet ads, and I would have no issue voting to repeal it if they treat this new privilege irresponsibly.

Be like me and vape only a micro-dose (probably 3mg or less). Helps me sleep and/or feel much better for a few hours. Not high by any means. Just from feeling poor to feeling “normal”.

“Medical” was a foot in the door. Voting on “recreational” brought more Dims to vote (this time).
