With the right design and precautions, an electronic machine can be made far more secure than paper ballots. One important factor is that the vote tally would be available instantly. There wouldn’t be time for someone to see how the vote turned out on TV that night and then adjust their precinct’s totals accordingly the next day to make up for it. If any precinct delayed submitting their vote the forensics on their machine could be investigated.

Then there are all the other benefits. No one has to deal with “interpreting” a vote that was mismarked by human hands in some way.

I have read some of your posts in which you state the facts about demographic percentages and I must say I am impressed (I’m interested in the same kind of thing, usually.) But now it simply makes me depressed and hopeless. FL,MI,CA and others don’t need vote fraud, just the Dem cohort as you stated.

When Rush said in early 2016 “I wonder if there are enough good people left to vote and win now.”

We saw African American women interviewed with five children and seldom a husband. Those kids have grown up now.

We knew staggering numbers each year for decades entered illegally from Central and South America. Ready to vote Dem now.

Later will be when the Muslim women’s average of 6 offspring per woman grow up to vote.

One question for you:

If it is this hopeless then what is your solution besides more good guys turnout?

Also, are you reading all the harsh attitudes shown by some FReepers as the Dem mob trend turns uglier?

The next leftist steps after Tucker Carlson’s wife and children were threatened may be much worse. Scalise was painfully wounded but survived.

My only hope now is prayer and faith in God’s Plan. That goes a long way.

The problem is finding good people to run for office. Who wants to deal with the aggravation that goes with it? That's another tactic the Democrats are employing to eliminate their competition.

Supposedly there are two batches of mail in ballots in Maricopa being counted. They are still on the first batch which they’ve said is favorable to Sinema. The second batch will be more favorable to McSally. There are still hundreds of thousands to be counted.

Plus factor in Pima which also reported yesterday which they knew would be favorable to Sinema.

The Republicans have about a 10 pt advantage in Maricopa. I think McSally will be fine.

I apologize, Freedom.

When I criticize the general sentiment of an entire thread, my normal routine is to address my Comment to the person who posted the original article.

After my Comment went up, I realized I had clicked on your Comment instead.

I should have written a second Comment to let you know I was not specifically addressing you. I am sorry I failed to do that.

However, in my lifetime, Republicans have been helplessly squealing about voter fraud after every close election since Kennedy beat Nixon in 1960.

After 58 years of this crap, maybe the Republican Party should actually do something to stop it?

AZ GOP is filing suit against counties who aren’t in compliance with state law. AZ is on top of it.

AZ ain’t FL.

Great point. Bill Schuette for Governor of MI a good example of a dud. Charisma or enthusiastic presentation of excellent ideas go a long way. Kasich and Jeb Bush=No. Ocasio-Cortez and Trump =Yes. Who won in these cases?

Problem: Left and Media are going to make Kavanaugh look like Mr.Popularity when they turn attacks on next GOP candidate for office. Right now no one would say to spouse “I have judicial experience and a feel for helping the American people—I want to be on the Supreme Court if Trump calls me.” Then duck for flying remote thrown at their forehead by spouse.
Soon, all GOP candidates will be attacked like Trump by the opposition. A piñata.

Re: “AZ is on top of it.”

If the AZ Republican Party was on top of it, it would not have happened in the first place.

Re: “They had lawyers in there from the get go and filed a lawsuit.”

In other words, we are chasing the cows after we left the barn door open.

In Democrat strongholds, the GOP should have well paid highly trained observers at every point where ballots are printed, transported, counted, and preserved.

If that is not possible, then we need to publicly inform every potential GOP donor, candidate, or voter that we cannot stop voter fraud, and we just have to live with the consequences.

Sinema’s lead narrowed a bit this afternoon to a little over 8,000 votes. It had been over 9,000 last night.

I think there will be another update around 7 p.m eastern time.

Re: “If it is this hopeless then what is your solution besides more good guys turnout?”

I’m not sure I see one.

Sometimes I fantasize about a peaceful dissolution of the “United” States which would be replaced by a more congenial “Federation” of States.

However, I’m not sure a “Federation” of States could survive the rapacity of the political Left any better than the “United” States can.

I’m not a religious person, but trusting in “God’s Plan,” as you do, may be our last best option.

Anyway, in the mean time, I’m an old guy who plans to keep fighting for Conservative principles until I draw my last breath.

We’re both “old guys” and I pray that God will help us survive the clash with socialism-—you and your family, my wife and myself, and the wonderful patriots here on FR. I pray we will be up to the task.Amen.

I just checked the Arizona Secretary of State website.

It shows McSally is behind by 20,000 votes - 49.3% to 48.3%.

Even worse - the hard core Leftist “Green Party” has 47,000 votes, which is 2.3% of the total vote.

That means McSally trails the combined Left by 3.5%.

Voter turn out - 55% - is very high for a mid-term election, probably close to an all time record.

High voter turn out usually favors the Left.

Re: “The turnout of GOP voters must be massively increased. I think overall turnout nationwide for this midterm was around 49%. GOP needs to find ways to get it to 75-80% for its own voters, or the Republic is screwed.”

Believe it or not, higher turn out usually hurts Republicans.

White Conservatives traditionally have the highest turn out of any ethnic or political group.

As the general turn out increases, the number of Conservatives decreases, because most Conservatives have already voted.

The blunt political reality is that Conservatives are a minority in the USA, and, more often than not, Conservatives are a minority in the Republican Party.

We have a very deceptive history of political success because we are usually the most passionate and the most reliable voters in the USA.
