“So I’m reading all kinds of different things but from the AZ SOS it shows McSally down about 9500. So how many votes out there? Where are they from? Are these dem or Rep. areas? Please someone with AZ knowledge respond.”

There should be about 200,000 ballots that still need to be counted according to my calculation.

Maricopa County typically accounts for 60% of the votes in AZ. Right now the percent is about 57.2% as of 9:10 MST (has been that way since about 6 pm).

If the uncounted ballots counted as first in, last out, McSally has a good chance as Republican ballots had a big lead over Dems in Maricopa County (I was checking the prior week). If not, we are screwed.

BTW I live in Yavapai County, not Maricopa.

Blaming these close races on voter fraud or Never Trumpers is misguided.

The Democrats have enough LEGAL voters to win state elections in Arizona and Florida.

All they have to do is get their LEGAL voters to the polls.

Both states are 45% non-white.

On average, Blacks vote 90% Democrat, and Hispanics and Asians vote 70% Democrat.

Whites in Arizona and Florida vote 55%-60% Republican.

In past years, white Republicans held a decisive advantage in population, voter eligibility, registration, and turn out.

Every year, that advantage gets smaller and smaller.

There is no reason to believe that large numbers of non-whites can be converted to Conservative principles. A quick survey of African, Latin American, and Asian governments should cure anyone of that delusion.

The only viable solution is to increase the Republican share of the white vote in every state and to end massive LEGAL immigration.

I assume that many are not aware that County Recorders in four other counties filed suit against the new Democrat Recorder in Maricopa last night?

Second, after an economy move and idiot independents screwed up the reduced polling places in the primary in ‘16 the County Recorder got replaced with a Democrat claiming to be a man of the Constitution.

As of this morning, four other County Recorders are suing him for allowing verification of mail-in ballots where the signatures don’t match the records contrary to state law as understood in the other counties.

See, in Arizona, many are registered to receive a vote-by-mail ballot. These ballots either have to have been received prior to polls closing or turned in at a polling place if you didn’t mail them the week prior to arrive on time. Many people start to fill them out and then don’t finish due to items they are questioning.

The new Maricopa County recorder who is still adding ballots where the signature doesn’t match by having his office call each particular voter. He says Pima County does this (Tucson) and why doesn’t Maricopa do what Pima does.

Its an old trick, Dem ward captains go around to minority neighborhood offering to complete and deliver ballots that weren’t mailed. The person gives his ballot tot he ward captain who (1) fills it out without mentioning that is improper and illegal, and (2) signs and delivers it — also illegal. The ballot show up with a bad signature match and the person it was sent to gets called. He says “yes” I voted and the ballot is then “perfected.”

Ballot stuffing by the Democrats — new versions for every system. The law suit was filed last night but it won’t stop the improper counting.

Same crap they have pulled in Leftist Tucson for a number of years where they have had control.

CNN is posting this the last two hours to set it in stone:
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/sinema-takes-thin-lead-over-mcsally-in-az-senate-race/ar-BBPv6jH

Bing (through AP still, at the same time) showed McSally still leading.

I figured that out a long time ago. But McSally doesn’t go around flaunting her sexuality. Sinema is so smug, like she is never going to be held accountable for anything. I cannot stand that liar. ‘Independent.....Just Like Arizona’, yeah right, when she is really just this side of Chairman Mao.

All those ballots need to be thrown out. Every ballot where the signatures don’t match is tainted. Sinema should drop out. This is a disgusting banana republic move by the Dems. Our elections need to have integrity or no American will ever trust the elections again!

OK, here’s the deal. We live in AZ at this time of year. As far as I know, there are roughly 400,000 ballots left to be counted from all over the state. These are early (absentee) ballots that were not mailed in but were dropped off on election day at a polling place. They can’t be counted fast by machines the way regular ballots cast at the polls are counted.

It’s important to understand that about 65% of AZ’s population lives in the Phoenix metro area, which is entirely inside Maricopa County. A big chunk of the remaining population lives in the Tucson area, inside Pima County. So those two counties have the vast majority of votes. Maricopa County generally votes slightly on the Republican side overall. Pima County holds the University of Arizona and is more liberal and votes center-left. But the rest of the state, except for the Flagstaff area and the Indian reservations (not many votes there) is very conservative. In fact, almost half of President Trump’s margin of victory was from Mohave County alone, up in Northwest AZ.

As far as where the remaining votes are from, there’s no way to know, except that obviously they’re mainly from Maricopa and Pima counties. There are military votes also yet to be counted from overseas. Yes, it’s also true that hundreds of thousands of votes haven’t been counted in all the other state-wide races for governor and SOS, etc. The calls made in favor of Gov. Ducey to be re-elected, and for other people to win House seats, are all based on historical patterns in the early ballots that are dropped off on election day. It’s theoretically possible that Ducey could still lose after all the early ballots are counted, but the probability of that happening based on history is effectively zero, so they declared him the winner on election night.

It’s only the close races where the counting of these early ballots can change the winner. So that’s basically the deal with the vote counting. The SOS doesn’t disclose the location of the early votes that have been counted and not counted. The percentages counted that you see on the internet are usually the percentage of precincts that have reported on election night. Usually it’s not the percentage of all ballots that have been counted. I’ve only see one website that estimates the total percentage counted.

So McSally still has a reasonable chance to win. AZ isn’t riddled with blatant fraud like Florida, but still the GOP vote watchers have to keep their eyes open for anything and everything in the next two weeks until this election is over.

Yes. That’s how it was when I voted in Pennsylvania and Indiana. You just flip the levers and when you opened the curtain supposedly your votes registered.

We Republicans are doing our normal day to day work and voting in the course of our day and leading up to that day. The Democrats are taking over a country through revolution, that is what leftists do.

Your suggestion would be used by them as well to allow a Democrat Recorder to object to Republican ballots and throw them our due to signiture “issues.” Allowing verification, but only prior to the close of voting, when there is a question is a reasonable and verifiable standard.

Democrats cheat because the penalty is small and imperfectly applied.

Well she won a squeaker once before in a House race in the Tucson area, which is more liberal than AZ in total. So it is possible if they don’t steal if from her. We haven’t had elections that were blatantly stolen before, like in Minnesota. If it’s a reasonably clean election, she can still win it.
