Poll: Democrats hold single-digit leads in Ohio

Democratic candidates in Ohio’s senate and gubernatorial races hold single-digit leads against their Republican opponents, according to an Emerson College poll released Monday.

Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), who is running for a third term in the Senate, has a six-point edge among likely voters against Rep. Jim Renacci (R-Ohio). About 49 percent of likely voters support the incumbent, while 43 percent support Renacci. About six percent of likely voters say they are undecided.

Brown is one of 10 Democratic senators defending seats in states President Trump won in 2016. Trump won Ohio by about eight points.

Trump endorsed Renacci early in the race, tweeting in April, “.@JimRenacci has worked so hard on Tax Reductions, Illegal Immigration, the Border and Crime. I need Jim very badly to help our agenda and to keep MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! He will be a fantastic Senator for the Great State of Ohio, and has my full endorsement!” He campaigned with the congressman earlier this month.

Brown will win.

If Cordray wins, my fellow Ohioans are stupider than I thought.

Brown is a hard core liberal but otherwise a low profile nonentity who has been elected by dint of good luck with drawing weak opponents and timing of his terms.

He may win because no one knows enough about him to vote against him, and Renacci has run a weak campaign.

Explains why Trump is going back to OH before Election day. It a twofer. Lots of local media in OH and MI will cover it

Consistent theme in all polling today.

Polls conducted by some university show the Democrats ahead by a small margin.

Translation: on Tuesday the Democrats are going to get their heads handed to them.

“Poll”

Our model allocated “unaffiliated” indy voters based ona 20-year voting history. Using this model, Rs have a 300,000 registration edge with no indies left (well, 2,000).

Renaicci may not win, but he’s gonna have to work to blow it.

Sherrod Brown is an entrenched incumbent. I don’t know why people get so married to career politicians but I guess they feel safe and fuzzy compared to wildcard challengers

Although I don’t find Renacci all that appealing, I just voted for him. Wife beater Sherrod Brown is a POS.

I've been warning my fellow Conservatives for some time that there is a HUGE pent-up demand in this country to see big banks, big telecoms, and other corporate entities PUNISHED for past transgressions. Allowing the business sector to run roughshod over consumers for 30+ years does not come without a price.

He is Lizzie Warren without the fake Indian baggage, and could prove quite formidable.

Exactly and this is what we have expected them to do. I have lots of people trying to poll me but I do not answer.

Ohio polls can NOT account for the fact that 1.5 MILLION voter names have been purged from voter rolls AND WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR FRAUDULENT VOTES.

Michigan is another overlooked Senate race.

The media has spilled an endless amount of ink promoting Beto O'Rourke, who's going down in flames, but can barely acknowledge that Debbie Stabenow is floundering down the stretch.

Rennaci has been a milk-toast candidate, but I’ll be voting for him Tuesday and have a feeling he’ll eek out a win...it will at least be tighter then this article indicates.

From you lips to God’s ears. We MUST overcome the margin of fraud. That’s what concerns me.

Cordray is down by 6 to 10 in all other polls, so I’m going to call BS on this one.
