Informative post. Some of it I knew in my gut, osmosis, and observation, but you gave us a closer analysis of their mindsets...well formed in thought and presentation.
Big problems on this front. We are lucky to have Trump at the helm right now. I do hope he will be in for 8. But what to do in 2024? There is no mini-Trump being gromed at this moment. We got a very unique president. We better savour and pray for him while we have him.

They’ve been coached that if they can get to an ER, after their water breaks, and have a kid in an American hospital, bill being paid the taxpayers and other patients, that their spawn automatically becomes a citizen of the United States of America. And being one, that child is eligible for all the goodies, courtesy of the US Taxpayer. Every hospital has social workers, etc that will get the kid a Social Security number and then walk the mother through the process of applying for and getting their infant, US Citizen, all the goodies: Section 8, SNAP, TANF, WIC, Medicare card. And then, under family reunification, they can reel up their entire extended family from wherever they came from and then destroy every neighborhood they take over.
Good points. My wife came to the US legally and is 100% against illegals. She is a proud American and a solid Trumper!
You don't have college educated doctors, lawyers, accountants, engineers or programers in those caravans. Those who want to are already here......
And as a side note, he had a nephew who was a physician in Honduras and it took him almost 10 years to finally get a travel visa to come and visit.......and he had to jump thru all kinds of hoops to get it, primarily to insure that he would return to Honduras following his visit...........

We make annual medical trips to Honduras - up in the mountains. Sweetest people ever. They are very thankful for any help.
The Hospital in Tegucigalpa has 3 children to a bed in a ward lined with beds. Bless their hearts. They need help.

How is this any different than the America of the Deep State? We are not supposed to be able to change our government either. And when we do something unexpected, like elect an outsider, the government fights him and us with everything it has so that it doesn’t change.
Illegal immigration is how the Honduran government bleeds off the pressure. If we stop it, the pressure will build and they find they have the ability to change their government. It may not be a peaceful change there, but “escape” is merely the means that the government uses there to preserve its own power. They need to learn that first.
