President Trump needs to learn that with the courts, it’s more effective to apologize than to ask permission. Respond so strongly and so surprisingly and so outrageously to the invasion that Congress , courts, and the Mexicans, and the left are left sputtering and hurling threts amd injunctions after the fact uf the repulsion of the horde.

It comes down to unit commitments, their specialties, etc. Armored units are not what is required, not all military installations have infantry and large military police units. The Marines and certain Army and Air Force units might possibly be needed. This type of border control would require boots on the ground and eyes in the air spread across a lot of miles.
