At least get to 50 and then we can get Pence to cast the tiebreaker. I know it’s a fluid situation, but regardless of what happens tomorrow the Democrats will pay a heavy price in November. They would of been better off “negotiating” behind the scenes with Flake, Murkowski and Collins instead of exposing themselves and their rent-a-mob lions in full view to the American people with this whole sliming episode!

Murkowski has a death wish.

Feinstein has something BIG on her.

That's NOT a healthy interaction between equals.

Manchin does this every time close to elections. Then he turns back to being another democrat.

RATs lose in AK. The Dem candidate who ran against her in 2016 got 11% of the vote.

I bet that discussion basically was, “If you want to be on a good committee when you jump to the Democrats you’d better vote ‘No’”

That’s because Democrats like Murkowski.

If Murkowski is ready to jump, what leverage would McConnell have on her?

Liberals need to remember, if THEY want to appoint Supreme Court Justices, THEY need to win a Presidential election,.

THAT is how the system works and has worked for a couple centuries...NOT just because Trump is in the WH right now.

“O” got to make HIS selection (albeit, BS as it was/is) and NOW, it’s TRUMP’S turn. SIMPLE!

Why wouldn’t everyone vote for cloture? It’s insane to drag this out any further.

Murkowski has to go!

Republican primary voters got rid of her once. And insiders found a way to save her Senate seat in spite of that.

She probably waits until the election and if the GOP has a significant hold on the Senate (for example,55 Senators), there’s no upside to Murkowski jumping.

If it’s 51-49, then we have a Jeffords situation and she will essentially run the Senate if she remains a Republican, and becomes just another Democrat vote if she jumps.

Unfortunately we have to wait until 2022 to kick Lisa Murkowski out of the Senate.

She figures by then everyone will forget and forgive. We found our new John Mccain.

“Murkowski will be hurt by a no vote. Trump won AK by 15%.”

But won’t she count on Democrats voting in the primary for her so the conservative Republicans have no choice but to vote for her during the regular election.

Murkowski will lose in 2022 no matter what label she has. She won’t win a Rep primary and the write-in vote she used at one point won’t fly either. She is toast with this vote. Then again, she may have already decided not to run in 2022. This is her one last shot to kick the GOP in the nuts.

Shut down drilling in Alaska. Then announce she is the reason. Happy re-election!
