Joe Manchin: I’m Looking at Kavanaugh’s Life ‘from 22 to 53’ to Decide Vote
Breitbart ^ | 10/04/2018 | Jushua Caplan

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) signaled in an interview published Thursday that decades-old sexual misconduct allegations against Brett Kavanaugh will not play a major role in his vote on the judge’s Supreme Court confirmation. Manchin, a key Democrat swing vote, lamented the Senate Judiciary Committee’s handling of its investigation into allegations against Kavanaugh, describing the previous few weeks as “horrible” and a “circus.”

“I am looking at the gentleman as an adult from 22 to 53, thirty-one years of professional service,” Manchin told Al-Jazeera. “I am looking at him as a father. As a person in a community, how he interacts with his community. I am trying to put the human side to it.”

The red state Democrat made similar remarks told Fox News’ Chad Pergram Wednesday afternoon.

Manchin’s remarks come as Democrat Senators have begun ratcheting up criticism of the FBI’s findings. Sen. Chris Coons (D-CT) expressed concern Thursday morning that the agency did not interview Kavanaugh or his first accuser, California psychology professor Christine Blasey Ford.

I did not know that Patrick Morrissey was originally from New Jersey. That seems to be really hurting him with West Virginia voters. East Coast carpetbagger and all.

Sounds like Manchin has decided to do what is right. Let us hope he carries through. Most of his party are showing themselves to be without a moral compass. As posted before:

What precisely are the Leftists seeking, which motivates them to smear Judge Kavanaugh? What is the object of their reprehensible tactics?

Surely the end is even more reprehensible than the loathsome methodology. It is to prevent having a Supreme Court that will actually enforce the Constitutional intent; and by that vehicle, to retain the intention of the Founders to pass on the Liberty, won in the Revolution, to succeeding generations.

The loathsome tactics, then, are to allow intellectually corrupted theorists on the Left, to deny Americans their birthright. Loathsome tactics, to an even more loathsome purpose.

[Mylan Pharmaceutical is a major employer in Northern WV. This is an area where Morrissey needs as many votes as he can get.]

Morrissey could at least point out Manchin’s hypocrisy re his critical ads about big pharma, given that his own daughter is the epitome of big pharma.

Either that or DiFi has another anonymous letter from a woman claiming Kavanaugh pinched her butt in an elevator when he was 23.

Sounds like Manchin has decided to do what is right.

Manchin will do what he perceives to be best for Manchin.

Manchin has to vote yes to get re-elected. What Manchin needed was for Kavanaugh to withdraw from consideration. If the deocrats have any brains, they will keep pounding Flake, Collins, Murkowski. They need these rino senators to vote no, so that Manchin could vote yes without being the 50th vote.

So far I’ve heard the democrats accuse Kavanaugh of everything from “attempted rape/murder”, to “drugging women for gang rape”, to “being a drunk”, to “throwing ice in a college bar fight”;

What I HAVE NOT heard is any record of him ever being disciplined for anything, arrested for anything, even detained for anything.

What I have heard is his being at the top of his class in high school, college, and law school. What I have heard is his exemplary record as a judge, law professor, and all around human being.

However, I have heard vastly disconnect stories coming from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford; I have heard that she was a partier, and even one wild claim - supposed made by her - that she had had sex with 50+ men before finishing high school. I’ve see her picture in 1982, and somehow I doubt that!

I’ve heard from another “woman” who attended multiple parties, known for “gang rapes”, and who love sleeping with two or more partners at once, who embellished a story to accusing Kavanaugh to attending these parties, and participating in raping her, recanted down to he “spiked the punch”, then down to “he was passing out red Solo cups, and then to “maybe it wasn’t him after all”.

We’ve heard from a college room mate that Kavanaugh “drank lots of beer in college”. Now, there’s a news bulletin for you...a college kid that drank beer.

We’ve heard the summary of an experienced sex-crimes prosecutor who says Ford’s story has more holes and Swiss cheese, and that she “would not prosecute” (Kavanaugh).

None...I say, NONE, of Ford’s implicated witnesses have verified Ford’s tall tales, even her supposed “best friend”.

Then, a former boyfriend of Ford’s has sworn - under oath - that she once coach people on how to take, and beat, a lie detector test. Ford had told prosecutor Mitchell that she had “never” done that...using the word “never”, twice. He also slam-dunked her “claustrophobia” story by revealing that she had lived in a small, 500 square foot apartment, and been on many inter-island flights in small, propeller, airplanes. Then, there’s the fact that she defrauded him with his credit card out of $600, which - to date- she’s never paid back, and that broke up with her because she “cheated” on him. And, she never told him she had ever been sexually abused.

Meanwhile, she temporarily set this life traumatic occurance aside to earn a doctorate degree, get married, and have two sons, until she heard that Kavanaugh might be nominated to the Supreme Court. Her ties to the democrat party, CIA, and other factions could not let that happen. So, she is suspected of using her self-hypnosis to conjure up “repressed memories’ of being assaulted by Kavanaugh over 35 years ago.

Having a boyfriend back then, and cheating on him in Hawaii, and getting married...all which we can assume involved intimate relationships, did nothing to make these repressed memories come flooding back...oh no...wait, it was the plans to install a second front door on her home that did it. Ah, yes, the old psychiatric “two front door therapy”.

But this horrific story of being “felt up”, through two layers of clothing (blouse and a wet bathing suit (usually padded) have hung with her for years, manifested by a double front door.

When you list and consolidate the points this facade, it gets even more unbelievable. But, the democrats and the lawyers are not running to HER defense, they see the ploy caving in on them, and they are the ones running for cover.

Their “foolproof” plan to win an election has turned into a circular firing squad, a well-deserved, circular firing squad.

We have to solid assurance that this will backfire on them at election time, but it’s beginning to look that way. The Senate building is rife with democrats trying to cover their own asses, which is exactly what they’re making of themselves.

Call in National Guard, clear - and lock down - the Senate building. “Force” only understands “force”; take away their ability to outnumber and they’re just a big group of vagina hats looking for camera time.

I agree. Though it keeps the door open both ways, Manchin is saying all this Ford-schumer is not a factor in his vote.

Trump carried the state 68-26. Manchin is just begging to lose.

Yup,I knew it wasn't close in WV.Seems to me that Manchin has a huge motive to vote "aye" but he may very well lose even if he does.

Joe, you are the kind of democrat we can live with.... Scoop Jackson, John Kennedy, Hubert Humphrey, Joe Lieberman....You sometimes show common sense with a rationale that’s plausible, even though we may disagree with it. Don’t blow it with Kav.
