Trump is hugely popular in WVA. The rally in Wheeling was packed to the rafters last night and spilled beyond the arena.
Not for once, have the Rats poked the sleelping bear. You could say Kavanaugh was the last straw.
A great rally last night in WV. I missed hearing Lou Holz. Does anyone have a link to Lou’s speech?
I watched the rally and Trump had them all fired up, however Morrisey fell flat from the crowds reaction.
I hate to say it, but I doubt he can win.

Manchin and Claire McCaskle won their last elections because of the horrible candidates Republicans nominate,. I didn’t tune in early enough to see Morrisey, but from his pictures, he looks creepy...kind of like a woman who had a sex change to become male. I really hope people will think of Trump when they vote in November. This is so much bigger than local politics. There is every bit at stake and more in this election than there was in 2016. The swamp is not going to go gentle into that good night. This is their most desperate hour...and ours too.
I thought Morrisey did very well in his speech. He’s definitely not as dynamic as President Trump. But he hit some good points. Mainly that his opponent (I’ve already forgotten his name), the Demonrat Senator, opposed the tax cuts and has voted along the Schumer/Pelosi lines on everything.
Morrisey has a good chance to win! Donating will help him do that. Not that YOU have to donate. But if we don’t fight, we can’t win!

Were the voters given enough reason to FIRE Manchin. That is the question voters face when considering an incumbent.
Too many in WVA must think Manchin is a good guy and ignorant of his voting record.
I hope he wins, but about 1/3 of the crowd were sitting with their arms folded as he spoke.
Manchin grabbed the third rail of American politics, gun control, as his first act as a senator. West Virginians haven’t forgotten that. Manchin’s daughter is the one that jacked up EpiPen prices. We haven’t forgotten that either.
This is an interesting race to watch. In 2012 Morrisey was the first WV GOP Attorney General elected since 1933 and he won re-election in 2016. Twice he has won a statewide election.
But is that enough to beat Manchin, I don’t know.

Morrissey is a good conservative but lousy campaigner. Little or no fire in the belly. That and WV is unusual in that it will vote red in presidential elections but in state and local elections, the democrats remain strong having a big edge in voter registration.
I think Trump's appearance in Wheeling was more about pressuring Manchin to support Kavanaugh rather than putting Morrissey over the top.
