$2.2 billion dollar transit hub that is supposed to be the northern terminus of California's high speed rail system. The problem is that high speed rail will never reach this hub. So Caltrain is supposed to service San Francisco from this hub. Caltrain comes no where near the location. It is a $2.2 billion dollar bus terminal. Now it is a $2.2 billion dollar nothing. Liberals in action.

News of the fractured beam is the second bit of embarrassment for the center, which opened last month

. As we first reported two weeks ago, the visitor walkway that encircles the rooftop park is crumbling — dozens of spots along the half-mile path have become the pedestrian equivalent of potholes.

Officials said they were still trying to determine the exact cause of the walkway problem, and a long-term fix has yet to be worked out. In the meantime, officials said the short-term plan was to patch up the eroded sections as needed.

Perhaps it would make a serviceable latrine for San Fransisco’s homeless?

There’s bound to be a farmer around that would weld the crack for a reasonable price.

That’s ok. The Millenium Tower is going to fall over onto it and no need to worry further after that

“We will be working tonight and tomorrow morning to get a better understanding of the cause of the crack.”

Those in SF need to study the crack? ☺

Pack it poop for safety until they finish gawking at the crack!

In my best Foghorn Leghorn voice,

“I say, I say, there’s entirely too much pooping going on on top of this building! It’s breaking the supports. Have them homeless people go poop on city hall!”

...
I wonder how much of that money actually went to the project?

Would love to see this Humpty Dumpty come falling down on adulterer Gavin Newsom and the rest of the fools in San Francisco, besides, it would force them to clean up the poop after it fell. My heart bleeds for these pathetic fools.

How come our idiotic “elites” can’t even seem to competently manage the construction projects that were easily built int the 1950’s and even before ?

When the bay Bridge collapses the golden Gate will still stand

When the Millenium tower craters the Trans America Building will still be there

The old stuff was built with mild steel, reinforced concrete, graph paper, slide rules. The new stuff they have all the advanced software and materials, and they can’t even build pedestrian bridges ?
