When press and camera crews from a number of outlets gathered outside her door — as a sexual assault allegation left the Supreme Court nomination of her husband, Brett Kavanaugh, hanging in the balance — Ashley Estes Kavanaugh delivered cupcakes.
According to at least one reporter, CBS’ Kathryn Watson, Kavanaugh offered up cupcakes from Sprinkles, a cupcake bakery in Georgetown.
Watson’s tweet spurred several reactions. First, people asked, “why are you at his house?” and criticized the media for camping out at his house.

Years ago, There was a cup cake kiosk in the mall. I’m not a fan of cup cakes...but, those were amazing. The flavors and fillings took ‘cupcakes’ to a different level.
So, I’m sure the ones she bought were just as special, a nice treat that most don’t get too often.
She did it because it’s the right thing to do. Not because she’s trying to change their behavior.
Good people will see that. Even democrats. Maybe some will wake up and vote with their brains next time.

Great move!! I would only say one thing could have made it even better, if she and her daughters had baked them with the girls bringing them out to the reporters.
I saw in the article that some lowlife was contrasting her being able to deliver cupcakes and the accuser in hiding. I would only say one thing, Dr. Ford could have chose to remain anonymous to the public and pursued this with the Senate behind closed doors. I don’t condone people threatening her, but it was her choice to come forward. In this hyper partisan atmosphere we now live in, she must have foresaw the consequences of going public vs. pursuing this privately with the Senate Judiciary committee. In fact, possibly pursuing it privately with Senator Grassley back in July.
Because Jesus would approve.

CNN: Kavanaugh’s wife in a fit of pent up rage said “Let them eat cake, and sent them cupcakes, not even very much cake.
MSNBC: Kavanaugh’s wife insults the press corps by calling them a bunch of cupcakes by having cupcakes delivered to them.

What’s the old adage? Kill ‘em with kindness.
I think that is the perfect touch. She has to be pure class and a lot of fun to be around as well.
Why? they probably take them everyday as it is.
Maybe it’s her way of getting a dig into them that is very subtle.
Cupcakes for the Cupcakes .... so to say....
Classic. You serve them cupcakes because it highlights what complete jackasses they all are for camping on your lawn. It makes you look gracious in the face of their jackassery. And it makes the harassment of this good man’s family at least part of the dialog.
