RNC poll finds GOP voters aren’t worried about midterms. That’s bad
Conservative Review ^ | 9/18/18 | Chris Pandolfo

Posted on 09/18/2018 8:30:46 PM PDT by Behind Liberal Lines

Fully half of self-identified Republicans don’t believe Democrats are likely to win back the House. And within that group, 57 percent of people who describe themselves as strong Trump supporters don’t believe Democrats have a chance (37 percent believe they do). …

“If overconfident Republican voters stay home, Democrats could win a landslide,” Josh Green writes. “The report urges GOP officials to yank their voters back to reality: ‘We need to make real the threat that Democrats have a good shot of winning control of Congress.'”

It is not overconfidence if it happens.

I am not worried. I know that I am not the only person who will crawl over broken glass to vote against the evil, lying murderous leftists.

Means polls, etc. meant to discourage Republicans from not voting didn’t work.

[But regardless of what they think, Republicans better turn out and vote! Our future depends on it.

If Dems gain control, they will try to impeach President Trump and thwart his agenda to MAGA.

VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!]

I see the liberals at Yahoo. The Huff Po true believers. They are a clear and present danger to the safety of Americans and the very survival of this country.

The liberal media have brainwashed them to the point that they are incapable of rational thought.

Yes, vote against the liberals.

“Most here are overconfident also, just like it says in this article. So in that sense, the article correctly captures the prevailing feeling of invincibility in GOP circles...”

On the other hand, being positive is motivating, and it’s good that there are positive vibes here.

I have been getting text messages and emails from all kinds of GOP representatives. I have no idea how they got my cell number.

I’m not worried about the midterm election. The DNC has purged even the slightest hint of moderation, and have gone full Lenin. They are an urban/niche party in some key areas - at best.

There is no blue wave. Republicans and Trump conservatives will turnout in droves.

“If overconfident Republican voters stay home, Democrats could win a landslide...

Or maybe overconfident republican voters are overconfident because they plan to vote in mass.

I’m not overconfident. But I am over enraged. What is going on regarding resistance to Trump’s declassification order and the outright slimming of Brett Kavanaugh has me outraged. Motivation to vote?!?! You betcha and I have a feeling it WILL turn out the bad come November.

Also, Trump has impact when he hits the campaign trail. He will be hitting it hard in the coming month plus.

We are NOT overconfident. We just know we will crawl through broken glass to vote to destroy the Democrats. Oh and for the superstitious crowd we won’t step on a crack in the sidewalk on our way to the polls.

This is stupid talk.

EVERYONE you talk to is itching to slap Democrats silly.

DON’T ACCEPT THE PREMISE!

So many of our little Republican voters don’t realize that their freedom is at stake. They will hence defer to others to protect freedom.

I'll never forget what George W. Bush's first move was after the 2006 mid-term shellacking. Does anyone else?

I guess on balance I’d rather have this than GOP voters worried and depressed, as they were in say 2006.

ANY republican who doesn't vote deserves ZERO respect.

We cannot afford to take ANY chances on losing elections.
