According to a new poll, California's two biggest statewide races in 2018 are tightening, as the leads for front-runners Gavin Newsom and Dianne Feinstein have been cut to single digits.

The poll, conducted by Probolsky Research between Aug. 29 and Sept. 2, found that Lt. Gov. Newsom leads Republican businessman John Cox 44 percent to 39, with 17 percent of the poll's participants saying that they are undecided.

Additionally, the poll found that Sen. Feinstein leads progressive challenger Kevin de León 37 percent to 29, with a whopping 34 percent of participants undecided.

Hillary won California by 4.3 million voters. The chances of a pubbie winning a statewide election are ridiculously low.

Even if we don’t win, it’d be awesome to see the races much closer than expected.

My opinion of Cox is not very high at the moment as a result. Trump is right...if he gets impeached, if Dems keep or take back governorships and Congress...it is the fault of conservatives not seizing the moment and holding our ground.

The only thing keeping California from falling off a precipice is Trump’s presidency and the Christians in this state.

De (he added tis to sound more ethnic) Leon is her dof La Reconquista a radical [l;ot since the 1p70s the return the southwest to mexico through illegal immigration.

leon should be in jail. A year ago he said he assisted the illegal half of his family in coming and staying here. He hired a an illegal to sit on state board in Sacramento, against federal law prohibiting hiring an illegal alien. But trump let’s them remain free. now will join Harris in the senate and w will have two strong advocates for illegal there.

Well they are not working to make this miracle happen. And it is really discouraging.

I’m suggesting letting the American people report the fraud they hear about or see. Now that everyone has phones that record and photograph everything, start collecting evidence! If there was a national hotline to report voter fraud and a group in DC who would take the information and investigate it and prosecute those found guilty, fewer would be inclined to commit voter fraud if they were going to sit in prison.

Unfortunately Feinstein is the less radical one.

Agreed. And that it is not just ‘white people’ who support Trump. But GOP / Trump basers shoot themselves in the foot by thinking we are bound by identity politics.

It may (or may NOT) be a fool’s mission, but I would like to see President Trump do a rally blitz in California.

Pick out the largest available venue in the three or four largest metropolitan areas and do an Election-Eve 2016 type of marathon campaign.

Schedule it for 7-10 days before the election, and follow up with some great lieutenants on a daily basis like Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity, Lou Dobbs, and Louie Gohmert.

Then saturate the TV stations with the best-of-the-best exerpts from the President’s California addresses.

I used to report Nigerians to the FBI and they laugh die out of the office in Carlsbad. I support anything the works. in the case of De leon and the mayor of Oakland these are public crimes and well known in Washington.

I’d vote for Feinstein, she votes the right way maybe 5% of the time which is more than I’d expect from DeLeon.

I don’t see how he can win, most Republicans who don’t leave it blank should vote for her and she has enough support in her own party that she should win easily.
