Obvious collusion with the Judge.
Lock Sessions and his butt buddy RosenWeasel up for RICO Sedition Conspiracy.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing?
Sounds like a good thing to me, or am I crazy?
I agree. The Manafort trial has nothing to do with Trump and the Russians.
Bayesian Statistics says the Manafort Trial has everything to do with the RICO Sedition conspiracy of Mueller, Comey and RosenWeassel.
Who asked for it?
It is a bad thing for Manafort. His defense will not be able to argue the case was only brought against him because of Mueller’s investigation and political influences.
Yeah, it makes a hung jury or a jury nullification scenario more remote if they just hide those little embarrassing moment details.
Honestly, Manafort SHOULD be on trial for not paying taxes. But so should Tony Podesta, David Axelrod, Karl Rover and every other “campaign professional” that does work overseas. Every one of them leaves money in offshore accounts just like Manafort does. They’re just not targets because they had nothing to do with Trump. Manafort wasn’t a target in 2012 when he was making his Ukraine money, either.
Well the jury in his first trial were certainly aware of Muellers motives even though collusion was out of bounds and sympathisized with Manafort on that account but convicted him nonetheless. Its too late to help Manafort trial-wise at the point.
It might be a good thing if it allows President Trump to pardon, or at least commute the sentence, without being subject to obstruction charges.
If the trial was not about Russia, a commutation has no implications for the Russia investigation.
What I want to know is when is that little creep from NY going to be forced to pay his back taxes all $6 Million of them....
It sounds like the Judge making a statement that this has zero to do with the “charges/suspicions” that started the witch hunt - I’d count that as a good thing that probably won’t have much impact on the big picture....

I see either a case-dropping, or dismiss with prejudice, or Mueller et al behind bars for contempt of court. Thanks KC Burke.
But remember that Mueller was only supposed to be investigating the Trump Campaign connections to Russia and here we have a second set of charges in a different court, again brought by Mueller, for non-Russian Campaign issues, where the evidence from the other court can be cited but not partial convictions.
The whole thing is a total misuse of the court system to pillory anyone involved in the Trump campaign and ruin their life. What would have been a tax fine if found for anyone else is now turned into millions in litigation and years in prison for the association with Trump.
