Governor Ducey has selected Senator Jon Kyl as Senator McCain’s replacement. What an excellent choice! There is no one more qualified and Arizona is well served. Kudos to Senator Kyl for his willingness to serve once again.

From 1995 to 2013, he served with John McCain as a United States Senator from Arizona and as Senate Minority Whip, the second-highest position in the Republican Senate leadership. Do no like! While I like Kyl just fine, he should appoint a younger conservative who can hold that seat for decades. Not an older retired politician who will not likely not fun for a full term.
