LOL. The media always called Loony Bob Graham a "moderate" while in the Senate (for far too long). Which was just as ludicrous.
As far as the media is concerned, if a Democrat isn't wearing a Vladimir Lennin lapel pen, he's a moderate/centrist. In the Democrat party, the farthest right you can get is closet socialist. The farthest left is gulags and killing fields. A moderate Democrat is in between those two.

It will kill him. Too many people in Florida have seen what socialism does and don’t want any part of it. There are too many Cubans and people from Venezuela and NY and Connecticut, etc who moved to Florida for that reason.
