I’ve got the perfect solution - declare that the city is now named after Dustin Johnson’s caddie!

Rename it “Autism, Texas”, that way they can save money by just shuffling around most of the letters on the signs.

Im all for renaming Washington to The Swamp.
Right now the City dishonors its namesake.

If there is intellectual honesty among the radical types, they need to rename Austin because Stephen Austin owned slaves.
New Orleans deleted the name of George Washington school due to his having owned slaves.

The city of Austins Equity Office I believe I have found the root of the problem, right there. The first thing to go is the "Equity Office". Would they propose all cities be named: Generic City #(insert incremental number)?

Since it is the State capitol, I think the entire State should have a say. The rest of Texas isn’t as F’ed up as Austin.

if you pick a name, theres going to always be somebody who has had some type of blemishes in life

Just remove all names from all states, cities and streets and assign numbers instead.
My address would be
4415 858th St
78983, 25
70510
(the last number is a zip code)

Another type of reason Austin is a liberal shithole.

Better yet, assign every address an IPv6 address! Much simpler!
Your address could then be:
FE80:0000:0000:0000:0202:B3FF:FE1E:8329
Won't even need a zip code!

It’s ridiculous to complain about the name of a city because it contains the same letters in the same order as the name of a slave owner.
The purpose of this is to convince us that everything, without exception, in this country is racist, and that we can not escape the guilt that goes with that.
