During the August 18, 2018, airing of Breitbart News Saturday, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry explained that he chose, in part, to withhold $600 million from Citigroup and Bank of America because they are “trying to become the social police.”

On August 16, 2018, Breitbart News reported Landry’s decision to withhold the $600 million, a decision shared by the Louisiana Bond Commission and State Treasurer John Schroder.

The decision to withhold the money came after Citigroup and Bank of America each unilaterally placed gun control demands on their customers, going so far as to stipulate that bank-sponsored gun regulations had to be followed if financing was desired.

Landry used his appearance on Breitbart News Saturday to explain:

BOOM! How long before some citibank/boa loan is suddenly due from the state of Louisiana? We know how this game is played. But good on the AG. Merci beaucoup Mr. Landry.

I think the Red States should band together, not just against the banks, but other ‘socially conscious’ BS Corps, Silicon Valley, et al . . .including the NCAA and the Indiana/NC homosexual/perverts in a dress and dressing rooms BS.

Let FEmmert of the ncaa get a taste of retaliation by the SEC Nation.

Guvs and AGs should band together. Screw the Blue (States)

“Easy way to see what Corporations are run by the Dems and not in the interest of the US”. Consolidation of industries is bad for the consumer, bad for employment, and bad for the economy.

Instead of bailing out the “too big to fail” banks that make up the New York banking cartel, George W. Bush should have allowed them to fail. Use their good assets to pay the depositors and let management, stockholders, and bondholders take it in the chin instead of the taxpayers.

Too many industries, like banking, are controlled by oligopolies and cartels. The left has weaponized these companies to stifle free speech, attempt to kill industries (firearms), and pay ransom to social activists groups. It is time to return to the trust busting days of Teddy Roosevelt. Break up the big corporations. The free market is better served with hundreds of competitors instead of 2-3 big ones that are often colluding.

Agree, the left of both parties are working for fewer people to control the wealth. They inturn control everything or try to. We need to just the corporations up and expand banking to more banks.

Exactly. More states need to sanction companies that roll over for New York or California’s far left politicians.

Companies need to learn that rolling over for the Left has consequences.

Next step is to KICK OUT their branches from gun-friendly states. Sure, it will be a pain for people, but either we stop this shit or it only gets worse and worse.

I’d support the nomination of AG Landry to a Federal Court, any level.

I would support him to be the replacement for Rip Van Sessions right after the election. Later, after a few years of kicking asses and taking names, he can be put on the federal bench.
