That was my point. This has no impact on his freedom to speak. Anyone who says so is a “self edit”.

Imagine if he did this the 1st day in office after firing every obama and clinton holdover!
Trump may like playing games but I do not.

Bingo.

This was a surprise ONLY to the left/deep state.

Why is Burr’s support surprising. The GOP establishment had learned that crossing the President angers the base.

Upon leaving employment, everyone should lose clearance.

The anti-Trump types are sure getting a lot of mileage out of the bunch of former national security types who signed the letter criticizing Trump for yanking Brennan’s security clearance - apparently the fact that Brennan should be in jail for lying under oath and should have lost his clearance if for no other reason than that doesn’t register with those blowhards.....

Access to classified information is based on TWO THINGS: having the proper clearance AND a NEED TO KNOW. Brennan and McRaven definitely don’t have the latter anymore. And their disloyalty to the Chief Executive obviously disqualifies them from the former.

why is it that nearly everytime I read your comment you seem to go against what most are saying? It is like you want to put a dampner on issues , or when conservatives here state something.

I was at a much lower level than Director Brennan and left intelligence in 1983 and I still can’t talk about certain things or travel to communist countries without permission.

It should have been yanked the day he was fired.
Who else keeps their employers access after they have left?
Corporations know this and practice it. How come the CIA does not know this?
That is a clear security hole.

Absolutely agree.

Brennan can’t talk about the SCIF, SC, etc. material that he still receives on a regular (daily) basis, because now it could get his sources fired.

Full details of Brennan's background are being censored and ignored by the usual suspects in the lamestream media.

Brennan's past commitment to Communism, his deep affection for Islam--many believe he is a Muslim convert during his early CIA activities in Arabia--and his scorning the Bible to take his oath--preferring a copy of the Constitution--minus the Bill of Rights,

Here's hoping these lacerating details somehow emerge into the public discourse as the spotlight falls full on John Brennan.

Brennan Loves the Moors
---apologies to the Clancy Brothers Tommy Makem and "Brennan on the Moor"

Because Brennan loves the Moors
Brennan loves the Moors
How on earth can he defend us, when Brennan loves the Moors?

When working at the CIA (Clinton was Prez back then)
Brennan helped nix the Agency's plans to kill bin Laden
So he helped bring 9/11 and helped the Twin Towers fall
While his boss Obama now spikes the bin Laden football

Because Brennan loves the Moors
Brennan loves the Moors
How on earth can he defend us, when Brennan loves the Moors?

When told of the twenty percent recidivism rate
Of released Gitmo detainees, he said, "We're doing great!
Fifty percent is common for civilian criminals
So turning jihadis loose is an OK judgment call."

Because Brennan loves the Moors
Brennan loves the Moors
How on earth can he defend us, when Brennan loves the Moors?

He was a driving force behind---or so it has been said-
The push to try in civil court Khalid Sheikh Mohammed;
The self-confessed murderer was a prisoner of war
But Brennan urged his status be summarily ignored

Because Brennan loves the Moors
Brennan loves the Moors
How on earth can he defend us, when Brennan loves the Moors?

Intelligence gathering John Brennan has contrived to thwart;
Despite wanting to try Khalid Mohammed in civilian court,
He has urged that jihadis be killed rather than captured
So interrogators will be unable to take down their words

Because Brennan loves the Moors
Brennan loves the Moors
How on earth can he defend us, when Brennan loves the Moors?

Now Brennan's nominated to direct the CIA
If it should happen he's confirmed, then he can give full play
To the policies that he's endorsed time and then time again
To favor terrorists over guarding Americans

Because Brennan loves the Moors
Brennan loves the Moors
How on earth can he defend us, when Brennan loves the Moors?

I believe that President Trump ( I love typing that!) kept these clowns around long enough so they could get enough rope to hang themselves.

Brennen just killed his chance at getting multimillion dollar jobs with defense contractors and a number of other various lucrative jobs. No security clearance, no value to an employee.

This will limit his employment opportunities and lessen his ability to hurt our country.

But both the the (R) and (D) parties have complained about the “DC revolving door”. So isn't this a good thing?

The day after the nov elections I hope that Trump tightens the noose and starts arresting people. Not low level types either but the Clintons and obamas etc.

Have any of you Freepers ever listen to Lynn Patton, titled, “The Trump Family I know” on You Tube? Never heard of her and a friend dropped this to me. She was so articulate and sincere. If you haven’t heard it, it’s worth the research on You Tube.
