A far-left activist group was throwing a party to celebrate the fact that Phillips has found himself in legal trouble yet again, despite winning a Supreme Court case earlier this year, and phoned the Masterpiece Cakeshop to order a cake with the words “DOWN WITH MASTERPIECE CAKESHOP!” written in frosting on top. When Phillips turned down the request, CEU units arrived on the scene, kicked down the unlocked front door of his shop, and forced him to bake the cake at gunpoint.

Please add “satire” to the title so I won’t waste time clicking on threads I have no interest in reading. Nothing wrong with satire, but it isn’t why I read FreeRepublic.

If you have to tell someone it’s satire then it isn’t.
I just hit the abuse button asking the mods to do that very thing. FYI, the poster cannot go back and edit his title. In order for the mods to catch the problem, one must hit the abuse button with your request. It doesn’t always mean “abuse.”
I wish they’d make it policy to not post satire without tagging the title.
