Special counsel Robert Mueller filed a formal complaint against the judge presiding over Paul Manaforts tax fraud case this week; claiming T.S. Ellis III violated protocol while ruling against the prosecutions star witness.
According to Politico, Muellers team is increasingly frustrated with the cranky judge who has rebuked the special counsels office on multiple occasions.

Certainly weve reached the point where Rosenstein will need to appoint a Special Judge, like say
Meuller.

The prosecution fraud-”lawyers” are really political dregs with an obvious agenda. The judge should have these bum arrested.

Who didn't see THIS coming?
Mueller is just filing this complaint so he has grounds for an appeal if he loses, or if the judge grants a directed verdict.

Someone here predicted this was what the prosecutors were going to claim when the “tearing up” story came out.

not a good idea for muller to piss off the judge like that ... judge might render a directed verdict of non-guilty ...

Ellis was the judge who finally held the prosecution to account in the Senator Stevens case.
He has had serious, personal experience with prosecutorial misconduct.

Ive followed all the links. Very poorly written as are most msm stories about legal matters. Is this a formal disciplinary complaint? Cant be sure but its unheard of in the midst of trial. I suspect theyre trying to scare him off on the forthcoming motion for a directed verdict

If Mueller wants to see a condescending judge, he should look at any of the judges who ruled on Trump EO cases.

So Special Persecutor, er, Counsel Robert Mueller got his ox gored, pretty darned seriously, too.
Put on your big boy pants, Mueller, and fold up your dog-and-pony show. It is going nowhere and will not play even in Peoria.

We need a citizens panel of about 10,000 coordinated volunteer patriots to just dig and dig and dig and file and file and file against Mueller, for a decade.

No. This wasn’t supposed to happen. Manafort was supposed to flip on Trump so this trial wouldn’t be necessary. Manafort called his bluff, like the Russian company a few months ago.
And when Manafort said, ‘I’ll see you in court’, Mueller had to throw one of his rookies at it so he could blame it on an inexperienced lawyer instead of a weak case.
