Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Wednesday lamented that the “American we know and love doesn’t exist anymore,” because of demographic changes in the country that she blamed on illegal and legal immigration.
Ingraham was reacting to comments from House candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who described in a recent podcast interview the way the country has changed over the past few decades, including the decline of the upper-middle class.
“She’s kind of right in a general sense,” Ingraham said after mocking Ocasio-Cortez's comments.
“In some parts of the country it does seem like the America we know and love doesn’t exist anymore,” Ingraham continued. “Massive demographic changes have been foisted upon the American people. And they’re changes that none of us ever voted for and most of us don’t like.
“Now much of this is related to both illegal, and in some cases, legal immigration that of course progressives love,” she added.
Ingraham went on to argue that Democrats oppose enforcing immigration laws, which is harming the country. She called for improved border security, the end of sanctuary city policies and the closure of immigration loopholes.
"Remember the old Democrats — maybe some of them Ocasio-Cortez is referring to — they used to think that borders mattered," she said. "But the new activists believe enforcing immigration laws is essentially an ongoing human rights violation."

Immigration, legal and otherwise, is changing America. But due to political correctness, we aren’t supposed to talk about it, or even notice it.
It’s frustrating to see, that some formerly nice suburban areas around some of our major cities, have really gone downhill, due to 3rd world immigration. But per liberals, we aren’t supposed to say anything, because if we do, then we are, to paraphrase Hillary, racist and xenophobic.
The 1965 Immigration Act is finally bearing the fruit Teddy wanted.
Ted Kennedy knew EXACTLY what he was doing when he monkeyed with our immigration law in 1965.
Between that and the invention of borking, I’d have to say the guy was an evil genius.
Here is the problem the Rats never anticipated. They have always assumed whatever they did we would want to preserve and defend the USA. What is going to happen when a significant number of us begin to realize our best hope is in what FOLLOWS our destruction?

Evil Genius is a little too charitable - more like a successful con man. It wasn’t really hard to see that a Venn diagram of American leftist ideology and third world ideology looked like a single perfect circle. He just needed a means to get them here.
Western Judeo-Christian values. Without those the American experiment in self government is truly dead.
When you import people who don’t really care about western ideals you should not be surprised to find out later that your country as founded is gone.
