Here is the problem the Rats never anticipated. They have always assumed whatever they did we would want to preserve and defend the USA. What is going to happen when a significant number of us begin to realize our best hope is in what FOLLOWS our destruction?

What happens when a significant number of us have given up on a nation that is run by the Deep State and a Brown Shirt Media that is entrenched?

They have always assumed whatever they did we would want to preserve and defend the USA.

................................................

You’re right - No one takes an oath to “preserve and defend the USA”, the oath is to defend The Constitution, which includes things like Article V, and ultimately the 2nd Amendment, to admonish those that seek to corrupt the original intent of The Constitution to limit the powers of the federal government to such things as are best done at the federal level, such as the defense, foreign affairs, and border security, while leaving all other matters to the states.

So yes, if I have to choose between preserving The Constitution and preserving the existing federal government, then I choose the former. And increasingly, it seems we all may be forced to make that choice ... maybe not in my lifetime, but likely before the end of this century.
