Yes he did misspeak yesterday but only in that A. he should’ve denied the question yesterday as inappropriate for a diplomatic forum and B should’ve clarified that Putin said the government was not involved and for displomatox reasons Trump will take him at his word.
For the record i don’t care if the Russians did - the DNC was sloppy and grossly negligent with their own political servers (which is NOT a matter of national security) so it’s their own fault. Let alone that they exposed National Security to the same sloppy and criminally negligent security practices.

I thought the president said he accepted the intel findings of HIS people.
I can’t imagine President Trump accepting the so-called findings of the Obama Administration, including the coup plotters James Comey at the FBI, John Brennan at the CIA, James Clapper at the Defense Intelligence Agency and Michael Hayden at the NSA.
