I wouldn’t be as diplomatic.
The Russian meddling stuff was a Deep State plots to remove Trump from office.
They couldn’t prove collusion happened; I don’t owe our traitors and seditionists an apology.
They owe the American people amends for illegal conduct and subverting our democracy to try to oust me from office.
That’s what I would have said because its the truth.
Anti-Trumpers don’t say “collusion” much any more. They say “meddled” (without explaining what that means except “that’s what the spooks said”). The gullible media audience members have heard “collusion” for 2 years and assume it means the same as “meddling.”
