From Russia, without love.
A new poll finds a decisive majority of Russians hold a negative view of President Trump even though he has cozied up to the Kremlin in an unprecedented manner, frequently floating his wish to become Vladimir Putins friend.
The poll, which was conducted by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center earlier this week, found 71% of Russians view Trump as unfavorable while only 10% found him favorable.
A stunning 77% of respondents consider Trump to be self-centered and 58% see him as dangerous.
Conversely, only 16% consider the President trustworthy while 34% see him as strong.
Trumps personality got the highest score, with 49% characterizing him as charismatic.
The poll results were published a few days before Trump is slated to sit down with President Putin in Helsinki, Finland.
Trump has promised to address Russias meddling in the 2016 U.S. election during his meet with Putin, but he set the bar low for how much pressure he will exert on the Russian leader.
What am I going to do? He may deny it, Trump said during a press conference in Brussels earlier this week, signaling his doubt in his own intelligence communitys unanimous conclusion. All I can say is, Did you? and Dont do it again.

Russianbot bookmarking story. Just following orders.
I wouldn’t read anything into this. Russia is (or recently was) rated as one of the most Xenophobic countries on earth. They don’t like Trump. They don’t like Americans. They don’t like anyone outside their borders. But mostly they don’t like Americans. When I was there a few years ago my host told me to always say I’m Canadian because it makes things slightly less awkward. No, this wasn’t Spies Like Us. This was real life.
I would say over whelming amount of Americans dislike Putin.
Trump is doing Great!
So, if true, why would Russia colluuuuude with the hated Trump to get him elected?
The Daily News is anti-Trump? Say it ain’t so! /s
I can’t wait for this meeting to come off. I think it’s going to change the world.
I’ve got an idea. Trump should give Putin some sort of “reset” button. That might bump up those popularity numbers a bit.
Met a guy on a plane out of Moscow once that told me they like Aussies. They really, really like Aussies, he said.
Huh???
Funny how they don’t remember obama whispering to the Russians “I can have more flexibility after the elections” comment

“even though he has cozied up to the Kremlin in an unprecedented manner”
Excellent! Wouldn’t want Russian scum to like Trump/USA...
Now that you mention it, when I was in Mexico last a guy accused me of thinking they are a nation of thieves (which I do but it’s beside the point). I’m going back this fall, perhaps if it comes up again I should tell people I’m Canadian.
Trump has given anti tank weapons to Ukraine after Obama refused. He’s also slapped some pretty stiff sanctions on Russia and has been openly pressuring the Yurps not to build another gas pipeline.
Yet the lying MSM claims he’s “cosied up” to Russia. No he hasn’t. He’s been significantly tougher on them than Obama was.
Old joke.
Russian and an American are discussing their countries....
The American says, “In my country, I can say that I don’t like the American President.”
The Russian retorts, “I can do same in my country. I too can say that I don’t like American President.”
Interesting. Ive found Russians much more nationalistic than xenophobic, but I admit my experience is with Russian expats. (My wife speaks enough to follow the real conversations, though she isnt fluent.)
Those we met overseas were more the hate America; not Americans response once common to most Europeans. Of course, given the Leftist vitriol, such civilized discourse is anachronistic. These days, Im more inclined to visit Eastern Europe over the despicable cowardly West. Once Im retired, Russias on my bucket list.
This kind of "reporting" would be laughable, if so many sheeple didn't buy into it.
How many Americans dislike Mr. Putin? Doesn’t seem unusual for a competitor’s and possible opponent’s citizenry to feel that way.
