How on God's earth are any of them still alive?
They all should have been sent to Old Sparky 40 years ago!

A couple of the members of this little ‘club’ were just pure nutcases. I think if Charlie was 25 years old today and accomplished the same act....he’d just be declared insane and sent off to a mental facility.

Good for the judges decision and Moonbeam for denying parole, he got something right as Governor.

Sometimes the CA judicial system is great - keeping her in prison as well as Sirhan Sirhan .... he’d be welcomed back to Palestine (or wherever the slug came from) as a hero.

Having seen her interviewed several times and given her prison record, I doubt Leslie Van Houten is a threat to society. However, some crimes are so vile that they deserve the death penalty or absent that, life imprisonment.
I really don't care one way or other about Leslie Van Houten. She should have been executed 45+ years ago but the fact that she wasn't and used the opportunity to apparently rehabilitate herself would support parole. On the other side, few crimes were more vicious and anyone involved deserves the maximum penalty allowable (which now in California means life imprisonment).

From the article:
“In January 2018, Brown reversed a parole boards decision to free Van Houten,”
The parole board recommenced her for release! What in the world possessed them??

Rather than base her incarceration as a “Just Sentence” Ryan actually told the truth. If released, Ryan found that Van Houten would pose an unreasonable risk of danger to society. The left suffers a real risk that on the outside she might have some notoriety and expose the roots of the progressive movement.

Moonbeam actually denied her parole?? Knowing him, he would probably throw her a ticker-tape parade past Polanski's house and give her the keys to the city of L.A..
