A man was arrested in Los Angeles on Friday on charges of threatening to murder the family of Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai, according to the Justice Department.
The department alleged in a news release that 33-year-old Markara Man threatened the FCC chairman's family because he was "angry" about the repeal of net neutrality regulations and hoped to "scare" the chairman.
In court documents filed with the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, a police officer with the Arlington County Police Department said there is probable cause to believe that Man sent a series of emails sometime around December 20, 2017, to accounts that belong to Pai, who is referred to in the documents as "Federal Official 1."
One of the emails allegedly included the threat: "I will find your children and I will kill them."

Net Neutrality isn’t at all what its name sounds like.
Must be some non-stop gamer who lives in his mom’s basement and didn’t want this ISP charges to go up.
I just want to assure folks that living near Los Angeles, I am still here, not arrested or anything. LOL
Speaking of which, I thought we were all going to die if Net Neutraility wasnt imposed. Im still here, Internet speeds are more awesome than a year ago.
Another case of Fake News disproven by time and events.
The threat of ISPs slowing throttling bandwidth was a total red herring. Bandwidth is a commodity for ISPs. They’re all too busy chasing differentiated content to sell as a value-add service.
This was always a Trojan Horse to slap more government regulations of the Internet.
Yes, it’s like communist countries calling themselves “ peoples republics” when they are neither republics, nor popularly elected.

Exactly so. Just what we need, more govt regulation in an area, telecommunications, that suffered for decades under excessive government regulation (Bell System, anyone?) and then exploded with new products, services, all while reducing costs, when deregulated.
Sounds vaguely Neanderthal, or maybe Punjabi. Either way, needs a long sentence and a plane rid back to wherever he came from.
Spectrum is advertising a new 950gb (approximate) bandwidth for its modem access lines. Yikes.
The thing the Leftists don’t take into consideration, is that competition being what it is, and technological advances being what they are, there will always be improvements, unless Leftists get a chance to destroy the businesses.
Then the equipment will die on the vine as companies try to cut costs.
Nut Neutrality.
Agree with the others here.
Generally, when a subject is somewhat complicated/confusing, look to where the Leftists stand on it and you have your answer. Pretty much applies to EVERY ISSUE today.
On Net Neutrality, it was TOTALLY pushed by the Left. We were smart to end it, before who knows what was going to happen.

5G is what people should be concerned about. Net neutrality wont cook your brain.
Liberals just want to kill pretty much everybody. Their little tantrums are getting boring.
I thought they were talking about Michael Moore. Musta got my stories mixed up.
Michael Moore looks a little like a Neanderthal - and so does the creep in Post 14.
