Fox News's Sean Hannity delivered the most viewers of any show on broadcast or cable television Monday night, drawing 5.9 (million) viewers for his broadcast from Singapore while covering the summit between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

According to Nielsen Media Research, Hannity beat "The Bachelorette" on ABC, which was interrupted by a special report by ABC News to cover the first handshake between Trump and Kim shortly after 9 p.m. ET.

For Hannity, the Monday broadcast marked an all-time high in total viewers and in the key 25-54 demographic that advertisers covet most since the host moved to the 9 p.m. ET slot from 10 p.m. in September. In that demographic, 1.486 million viewers watched.

MSNBC's special coverage of the Trump-Kim summit finished second in total viewers with 2.378 million. CNN's "Chris Cuomo Primetime" was a close third with 2.362 million viewers.

In the key demographic, however, CNN delivered 904,000 viewers, with MSNBC scoring 494,000 viewers in the category.

Overall in primetime for coverage of the summit, Fox finished first with 4.897 million viewers, MSNBC was second with a 1.948 million average and CNN third with 1.948 million....

I listened to Hannity during my drive from Gallup to Dallas yesterday. While I got tired of some of his shtick during the broadcast, it was much better than most after a flight to the other side of the world.

Overall I am glad that he beat all other network TV, while on ~1/2 of the stations.

The part I do not like is when he talks over and interrupts his guests. Glad he is #1 though.

“The part I do not like is when he talks over and interrupts his guests.”

I find myself being quite rude to my television set watching Hannity, Dobbs, and Ingraham. They absolutely insist on talking over, and disallowing the guests to complete their thoughts. So often the information the guests are relinquishing is interesting, educational, and now lost.

Lou Dobbs had a great show too.

Lou was kicking spineless speaker paul ryan’s useless azz around tonight. Paul Ryan is an absolute piece of ...... I really shouldn’t say.

Ryan and Mitch McConnell have done more to harm conservatives than any democrat.

What a sad, sad commentary on Americans that “The Bachelorette” would be anywhere near the #1 show on TV today. Frankly, if “The Bachelorette” and Major League “sports” are where Americans go for “entertainment” when the world is in such a sad state, there may be no hope, even with Donald Trump as our President.

Mitch McConnell have done more to harm conservatives than any democrat.

Indeed - as evidenced by the fact Gorsuch is on the Supreme Court instead of Obama's appointee - how unfortunate Schumer or Reid were not in charge then so that the Court could be solidly in the Left's corner to avoid all of that additional harm that has been done to conservatives by McConnell's chicanery.

Rightly said. McConnell may not be 100% MAGA all the time *BUT* his move to hold open the Scalia seat was one of the key issues that allowed POTUS Trump to win the 2016 election.

How many conservatives do you know who cited the Scalia seat as one of THE biggest reason they voted for him? Boy have they been pleasantly surprised!!

McConnell’s tactic of using Harry Reid’s filibuster removal on Fed Judgeships is going to allow POTUS Trump to - Lord-willing - create a solid conservative federal judiciary to last us a generation.

Even if we lose the House in 2018 (and I'm not saying we will, but if), knowing we still have the Senate will be the saving grace ...
