That was from 3 years ago. I see looking at his latest that Fred has read Heather, which is unsurprising.
Affirmative Action and the American Mind: If Any

If the SJW mindset manages to take over STEM it will be catastrophic.
Careful now. Your real world experience may challenge the current "common knowledge." You may need training. ;)
I am reminded of how biology in the Soviet Union was set back because the Communist party believed in Lamarckian evolution rather than Darwinian. Imagine trying to breed larger cattle by feeding calves more to make them bigger and breeding them because their larger size would be passed to their offspring. That is the type of idiocy which happens when politics takes over science.
At least they didn't talk about STEAM or STREAM instead of STEM by adding art and reading to water it down.
Its not just the sciences, identity politics harms everything.
Scary article. Instead of promoting competition to be the best, it seems that we are now competing to be the most unqualified and pathetic; its like the old Queen for a Day, where contestants were rewarded for having the most miserable life, horrible relationships, terrible illnesses, etc. Except in this case, these people dont even have to prove they ever had any such thing. Simply being black or female is apparently enough to qualify one for the giant bonus prize for incompetence.
But of course, in leftist thought, the individual is an affront to the modern collective, and meritocracy is the thing to be avoided at all costs.
I'm not a scientist but I recognize this systemic breach of standard requirements and protocol to accommodate diversity from the mortgage banking industry in the Carter and Clinton years.
I was a mortgage banker when the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) was passed by Carter and then heavily pushed on the industry via threat of DOJ action for those who didn't comply by the Clinton administration.
As a board member of the Arizona Mortgage Bankers Association at the time, I remember sitting in meetings discussing how to effective lower that loan qualifying standards to allow more people (i.e. poor people and crooks) to qualify for loans they would normally not qualify for.
Previously, there were only 30 year fixed rate loans available in the marketplace. No Adjustable Rate Mortgages (ARMS) or no income verification loans or even no-qualify loans had seen the light of day yet.
But in the push to get more "unqualified" people qualified for loans they normally wouldn't qualify for, the industry eventually had to come up with new loan products, like the ARMS, no-qualify loans and all sorts of strange instruments to get people who were considered bad risks by industry standards to be able to get loans so that we could meet the idiotic liberal government CRA requirements.
Over the next decade or so, more and more previously unqualified borrowers were given loans to meet this social construct the government came up with and that was to get more poor people into their own homes they owned instead of renting.
Problem was, most of those people should not have had their own loans, They should have remained in the tenant or renters category because, even though they had been artificially qualified, they still defaulted on their loans.
During this process, the underwriting standards for assessing risks of a borrower and whether or not they would pay off the loans, were thrown in the trash can and those historic standards, literally, in some cases, were eliminated. Loan instruments where the borrow could qualify with just stating what their income was without being verified in writing by the lenders, came into being.
The result was disaster. The unintended consequences of bad, liberal ideas. It eventually collapsed in our lap in the fall of 2008 and the stock market crashed and the world finance system was on the brink.
What was the spark to light the fire that destroyed the economy for a decade? The failed CRA and loans made to people who couldn't or wouldn't pay back their loans. When borrowers started to default on loans they never should have received to begin with, the CRA house of cards collapsed and investors panicked.
A loan is only as good as the ability of the borrower to repay that loan. If the borrower doesn't pay, the loan becomes a worthless piece of paper. When this started to happed, the bottom fell out of the markets and you had the perfect crisis for Barack Obama to win the presidency and try and tell us for almost a decade that this was the new normal.
The industry reacted be re-tightening back up their underwriting standards. The swing back to standards went too far and many people who would normally have qualified for a mortgage loan, were now told they were too risky. The pendulum had swung too far in the other direction.
I relate this story because I see the same thing happening in this article about the scientific community where they are trying to jam square pegs into round holes. It will be a disaster for science, innovation and research.
Liberals' diversity ideals are just that ideals. But they try to put them into play and they destroy industries. Diversity for diversity sake is a bad idea.
This has made it’s way into the practice of medicine. The anecdotal evidence is starting to appear in the form of botched operations and diagnoses. Pick your doctor and hospital with care.
You misspelled re-education camp. Which is where much of our Left would send us if they thought they could get away with it.
To your point:

Medical error is now the third leading cause of death in America.
Anecdotal evidence does not make an argument. Having said that, I am not questioning your experience.
